Handling documents using information technology have been applied in more than decades. It can save paper, speed up communications, save time and increase productivity of work. It is important because there is much valuable information in the form of documents such as books, letters, minutes of meeting, rules and regulations memo that support the programme accreditation process. However, the current practice is still using the traditional file system. This is very challenging for document search process, particularly during the audit process. The major purpose of this paper is to indicate that electronic document management technology can truly support in managing document evidences. This scenario leads towards the development of an integrated document management for academic quality assurance system (iDMQA). iDMQA is certainly useful in reducing the duplication of document evidences that occurs with the current system. Still, this system can be enhanced, especially in terms of tracking the history of document uploads.
In this era, competition is everywhere, especially for graduated students who are looking for a job. Graduated students need to equip themselves with the knowledge and soft skills required by the industry. In the industry's view, they recruit and select workers based on selective criteria such as academic qualifications, intelligent, communication skills and ability to work as a team. Therefore, the graduated students are supposedly preparing themselves accordingly. This study aims to identify the factors that contribute to students' academic performance in higher learning institutions in Malaysia. The exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was used in this study with a combination of the principal component extraction method and the varimax rotation analysis to extract the possible factors. The findings revealed that there are three factors that contribute to students' academic performance in higher learning institutions namely learning ability, learning effort and time management. In producing highquality students, higher learning institutions must ensure all students' necessity to possess these skills as demanded by the industry. As a result, it will increase the number of employed graduates and reduce the unemployment rate among graduates in Malaysia as inspired by the Twelfth Malaysia Plan.
Motivational belief and self-regulated learning are among the many vital aspects of learning particularly in the recent years after the pandemic Covid-19 hit worldwide and transformed the norm of our education system forever. Majority of educational institutions conduct online classes to adapt and students of all levels feel the burden to familiarize themselves with the new learning method. This quantitative study which was adopted from the framework by Pintrich and De Groot (1990) is performed to investigate the balance of motivation and selfregulated learning in online classes specifically among undergraduates at one Malaysian public university. Questionnaires were sent to 122 respondents of different genders and ages. The data is analyzed using SPSS which revealed a Cronbach analysis of 0.928, thus showing high external reliability for the instrument. Collected data is presented in terms of mean scores to answer the research questions. In general, the result revealed that students' motivation belief which comprises self-efficacy, intrinsic value and test anxiety can directly correlate and have an impact on the ability of students to apply self-regulated learning strategies whether cognitive strategy or self-regulation. Overall mean calculated for selfefficacy is 3.57, intrinsic value is 4.02 and test anxiety is 3.6. Meanwhile, cognitive strategy is 3.825 and self-regulation is 3.58. For further research, since the world will slowly go back to the face-to-face method, we can study how this transition to a physical classroom impacted students' motivation to continue learning and excel in their studies as compared to online classes.
