After more than two years, we have had an epidemic called COVID-19, which is now endemic and people are slowly adjusting their lives to it. The word of working from home, online meeting, online learning is not an alien thing to most of us during the outbreak of COVID-19 and it has become the new norm. Particularly in higher institutions, faculty members are actively finding ways and solutions in ensuring the teaching and learning process is always on the right track. Now, most people have realized that face-to-face and online learning could be the best combination of teaching and learning method during this time. The readiness of the users, the sufficient resources of online learning since then, make people adapt themselves to blended and online learning better. Therefore, blended and online learning classes are an option for educators and students. The purpose of this paper is to review and synthesize the literatures on the importance of blended learning and online learning during the endemic of COVID-19.
The purpose of this review is to provide a glimpse of antecedents at individual and organizational levels to better understand the issue of police integrity. The search process of the previous study was conducted through a reputable electronic database of Web of Science, Scopus, and ScienceDirect and was limited to the area of ethics and integrity of the police. The relevant articles found on the topic have been repeatedly reviewed to ensure the authenticity of the results. The literature findings indicated that antecedents of individual traits such as accountability, spiritual values, moral values, and professionalism is important in sustaining police integrity. Meanwhile, organizational characteristics that influence strengthening police integrity are organizational rules, ethical training, and ethical leadership. Notably, it has been a long interest of scholars on the issue of police integrity, and many recent kinds of research have been conducted to explore more antecedents relevant to the current challenges of police work. Future research should be undertaken to scrutinize various antecedents of external influences of police, such as communities' perception and trust, political authority influences, and economic factors that lead to integrity building of police.
Work-life balance is not a new thing in today's era. People are striving their best in order to achieve good well-being, balancing their working and personal life in today's high cost of living. Therefore, most families are forced to get more pay through dual income earner. This article examined the relationships between both parents' work-life balance and life satisfaction and systematically reviews journal articles on the topic of dual earner income and Work-Life Balance. The following themes were used to assess the selected studies specifically to identify: (i) the importance of Work-Life Balance (WLB); and (ii) the impacts on dual earner income on Work-Life Balance (WLB). Online university database was used to identify relevant studies on the objectives of this paper. The findings of the study found due to work-to-family and family-to-work challenges, dual-earner income households struggle to preserve work-life balance. Employers should provide flexible working arrangements to their employees in order to give working parents options while managing their employment and family commitments. For further researches, a qualitative research should be carried out in searching broader views and opinions from respondents about the impacts of experiencing dual earner income families towards the children's wellbeing.
