AbstrakDalam penelitian ini, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) untuk meningkatkan self-esteem yang rendah pada seorang anak usia sekolah (laki-laki berusia 10 tahun). Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) merupakan model intervensi yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi tekanan psikologis dan perilaku maladaptif dengan mengubah cara berpikir. Desain penelitian ini adalah single-subject research desain yaitu penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan satu orang partisipan yang bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas sebuah terapi. Pelaksanaan intervensi dilakukan sebanyak 13 kali pertemuan, dengan 2 kali pertemuan untuk melakukan penilaian (pre-test dan post-test), 10 kali pertemuan untuk sesi-sesi intervensi, dan 1 kali pertemuan untuk evaluasi. Durasi setiap pertemuan kira-kira selama 1,5-2,0 jam. Berdasarkan observasi, wawancara, serta hasil pre-test dan post-test, dapat dikatakan bahwa Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan self-esteem pada partisipan.Kata kunci: anak usia sekolah, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), self-esteem Cognitive Behavior Therapy to Increase Self-Esteem on School Age Children AbstractIn this research, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) was used to increase low self-esteem on a school-age children (boy, 10 years old). Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is a treatment that aimed to reduce psychological distress and maladaptive behavior by altering cognitive processes. The design of this study was single-subject research design specifically experimental study which used one participant to verify the effectiveness of a theraphy. This treatment consists of 13 sessions, with 2 sessions for the assessment (pre-test and post-test), 10 session for the treatment sessions, and 1 session for the evaluation). The duration of each session approximately 1,5 -2 hours. Based on observations, interviews, pre-test and post-test, CBT was effective to increase selfesteem on the participant.
