Biodiversitas 20: 1173-1179. Here we provide a list of herpetofauna at Mount Galunggung, West Java, Indonesia as potential biodiversity for ecotourism. Data were collected from our observations in March 2013 and November 2018 using visual and acoustic encounter search methods in the three zones (hot springs, craters, and foothills) on the nature tourism destination of the mount. We revealed 35 species of herpetofauna and their local distribution on these zones. Even though the diversity of herpetofauna has not been observed completely, we suggested that the biodiversity data from this zone should be used as the basic capital in turning nature tourism base into ecotourism base, so that it would provide more benefits to biodiversity conservation itself and to the local community.
Pada perkembangan teknologi saat ini banyak dikembangkan jenis robot dengan kemampuan yang menarik adalah robot dengan pengendali suara manusia yang memanfaatkan teknologi pengenalan suara sebagai perintah untuk menggerakkan robot, sehingga robot bisa dikendalikan oleh suara manusia namun dalam hal ini dibutuhkan untuk keamanan perintah yang hanya mengenali suara user dengan menggunakan EasyVr, dan telepon seluler GSM dibutuhkan untuk mentransmisikan data suara dengan jarak jauh, karena proses pengiriman data menggunakan telepon seluler akan lebih efektif dan efisien. Easy Voice Commander sebagai perekam suara user sebanyak dua kali ucapan dengan kata yang sama dan modul EasyVR sebagai modul pengenalan suara yang selanjutnya perintah perintah akan diolah oleh mikrokontroler Arduino sehingga robot bisa bekerja dengan baik sesuai perintah suara dari user.
Silvery lutung (Trachypithecus cristatus) is one of the primates of Cercopithecidae family distributed in Kalimantan and Sumatra. Its habitats are coastal areas, mangroves, shorelines and riparian areas. Currently, research on the silvery lutung has been widely carried out on Sumatra island, but there is a lack of information about the species on Borneo Island. One of the interesting habitats to study is the restored mangrove forest. This study aimed to determine the distribution and population density of the silvery lutung and identify the type of feed in Handil Baru Village, Samboja Sub District, Kutai Kertanegara District, East Kalimantan. Initial information that can be extracted is in the form of an ecological study. The population density was determined by direct observation using the Concentration Count method, while the distribution was analyzed using ArcGIS software version 10.4. We found three groups of silvery lutung in the mangrove area of Handil Baru Village, scattered in Handil Baru Muara, Raden River, and Mantri River. The average population density in each area was 6.63 individuals/ha; 2.65 individuals/ha and 0.72 individuals/ha, respectively, with the number of individuals per group ranging from 17-24. There were 22 plant species found as food sources for the lutungs. The population density was influenced by the extent of habitat use, the number of individuals at the location, and food availability. This research can be used as a reference for habitat management and regional development that contributes to the preservation of silvery lutung. Habitatnya yaitu daerah pesisir mangrove, tepi pantai dan riparian. Saat ini, penelitian lutung kelabu banyak dilakukan di pulau Sumatera, namun masih kurang informasi di pulau Kalimantan. Salah satu habitat yang menarik adalah hutan mangrove hasil restorasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui distribusi dan kepadatan populasi lutung kelabu, serta mengindentifikasi jenis pakannya di Kelurahan Handil Baru, Kecaamatan Samboja, Kabupaten Kutai Kertanegara, Kalimantan Timur. Informasi awal yang dapat digali adalah berupa kajian ekologi. Kepadatan populasi diketahui melalui pengamatan langsung dengan metode Concentration Count, sedangkan distribusi lutung dianalisis menggunakan software ArcGIS ver. 10.4. Penelitian ini menemukan tiga kelompok lutung kelabu pada kawasan mangrove Kelurahan Handil Baru, yang tersebar di wilayah Handil Baru Muara, Sungai Raden dan Sungai Mantri. Kepadatan populasi rata-rata yaitu sebesar 6,63 individu/ha di Handil Baru Muara 2,65 individu/ha di Sungai Raden dan 0,72 individu/ha di Sungai Mantri, dengan jumlah individu per kelompok antara 17-24 individu.
