Tolerance in social life is a need for Indonesian citizens. However, cases of intolerance and violence in the name of religion frequently occur in socia life and might influence students at university This research aims to assess the level of religious moderation comprehension among students at UIN (Universitas Islam Negeri/State Islamic University) Suska Riau through group counseling sessions. The study utilized a quantitative approach, employing a descriptive pre-experimental Intack Group Comparison design. The findings revealed that students' understanding of a moderate attitude significantly increased after participating in group counseling on moderation, with a positive score of 97.5% and a negative score of 2.4%. The inclusion of religious moderation as a theme in group counseling positively impacted students' comprehension and attitude towards religious moderation within society. Notably, two indicators, national commitment and tolerance, exhibited the most significant improvements, with respective increases of 35% and 29%. These results suggest that employing group counseling centered around religious moderation can serve as a model for enhancing students' understanding of religious moderation in society.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemahaman materi wakalah dan sulhu terhadap tanggung jawab dan cinta damai siswa selama di lingkungan Madasah Aliyah Hasanah Pekanbaru. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa di Madasah Aliyah Hasanah Pekanbaru. Sedangkan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah pengaruh pemahaman materi wakalah dan sulhu tehadap tanggung jawab dan cinta damai siswa. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan sensus sampling (sampel jenuh). Teknik pengumplan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, tes, angket, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis datanya menggunakan korelasi serial. Perhitungan data dilakukan secara manual yang diperoleh melalui tes dan angket. Tes untuk mendapatkan data tentang pemahaman materi wakalah dan sulhu. Sedangkan angket untuk mendapatkan data tentang tanggung jawab dan cinta damai siswa. Bedasarkan analisis data diperoleh rch sebesar 0,771 lebih besar dari rtabel baik pada taraf signifikan 5% sebesar 0,404 dan taraf signifikan 1% sebesar 0,515 atau 0,404<0,771>0,515. Dengan demikian Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara pemahaman materi wakalah dan sulhu terhadap tanggung jawab dan cinta damai siswa selama di lingkungan Madasah Aliyah Hasanah Pekanbaru
Community Service Program was implemented based on problems faced by elementary school teachers in Pekanbaru, including: 1) lack of motivation, knowledge and skills possessed by community and elementary school teachers to improve their creativity and innovation in knitting; 2) lack of community knowledge and creativity to increase economic growth; and 3) lack of guidance from related parties to community and elementary school teachers regarding motivation, creativity, and communication skills. Based on some problems identified, a problem resolved in this activity was: giving assistance in making bags through knitting skills for elementary school teachers in Pekanbaru, Riau. Furthermore, there was also guidance on becoming an MC and other official activities to help participants to be individuals who had confidence and good motivation. The community service activity carried out was Participatory Action Research (PAR) which was conducted using a descriptive approach method. Importantly, population in this study were teachers in Riau Province, especially elementary school teachers in Pekanbaru. Sample of service was chosen by purposive sampling, obtaining elementary school teachers in Pekanbaru. Results of activity could be declared successful in overcoming the problem. It was shown by teachers who strongly agreed with the existence of community service activity as an effort to develop competence, particularly in terms of community economic development through knitting and communication skills for teachers in Pekanbaru.
This research is motivated by the mental inadequacies of students who can hinder the goals of education and teaching in the school environment. Therefore, mental health guidance is needed through religious formation. Based on these phenomena, this study aims: 1) to find out the efforts made by teachers in developing religious and mental health of students in MAN Indragiri Hilir; and 2) to analyze the presence or absence of the influence of religious guidance on the mental health of students in MAN Indragiri Hilir. The research method used was a quantitative study conducted on 56 students. Data collected through observation, interviews and questionnaires. After the data is collected completely, a data analysis is done using a simple linear regression test with the help of SPSS version 23.00 for Windows. The results obtained from this study include: 1) religious guidance conducted by teachers in mentally developing students, including: habituation of Dhuha prayer, Dhuhr prayer in congregation, reading Asmaul Husna and giving Jariyah every Friday in each class. While activities outside of effective learning hours include social service and apostolic assembly; and 2) there is an influence of religious guidance on the mental health of students by 53.7% on mental health in MAN 2 Indragiri Hilir
