The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that play a role in the development of pempek quality favored by consumers and to study internal and external factors that influence the development of pempek processing industry and its implications for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats as well as formulate alternative development strategies for Pempek industry.The sampling technique used in this study is simple random sampling with a sample area of 95 respondents consisting of 10 pempek processors (producers) and 85 consumers. Data processing is done by using factor analysis to know the dominant factor of pempek industry development. SWOT analysis is used to determine the development strategy of the pempek industry.The results showed that the factors that play an important role in the development of pempek industry are organoleptic factors consisting of taste, color, softness and aroma; Consumer prices, food hygiene and safety with regard to physical quality, chemical quality, shelf life and strategic location. Pempek industrial development strategy that must be done is by the application of practical and efficient technology, excellent products, hygiene and security, extension of marketing network through cooperation with marketing agents both at homeland and foreign countries, cooperation, restaurant, retail and supermarket, promotional strategy improved through Advertising, leaflets, radio, television, internet and publicity.
The majority of cattle farmers businesses in Rejodadi Village Sembawa Disrict Banyuasin Regency are still managed in a small-scale traditional pattern with an average number of 3-5 cattle and are used as a side business, where the main business is plantation labor. The study aimed to : 1) Calculating the income from cattle business in Rejodadi Village, Sembawa District, Banyuasin Regency, 2) Analyzing what factors affect the income level of beef cattle business in Rejodadi Village, Sembawa District, Banyuasin Regency. This research was conducted in Rejodadi Village, Sembawa District. The location selection was done purposively, the research method used in this study was a survey method, for the sampling method was simple random sampling, which took as many as 30 respondents from 60 cattle breeders in Rejodadi Village. Based on the research results, the average income of beef cattle business in Rejodadi Village, Sembawa District, Banyuasin Regency is Rp. . 20,146,016. The factors that significantly affect the income variable of beef cattle business in Rejodadi Village are the cost of feeder cattle (X1), the cost of medicines (X2), the cost of feed (X3), the price (X4), the cost of the cage (X5). . While the variable that has no significant effect on livestock business income is the experience of raising livestock (X6).
This study aims Calculate the work out time, the income of female farm labourer on swamp rice fields, and to analyze the impact of agricultural mechanization to the work out time and income of female farm labourer on swamp rice field. The research method was used survey method and sampling method was a simple random sampling. The data were processed by tabulation and analyzed quantitatively by a paired sample t-test. The result showed that the work out time of female farm labourer before agricultural mechanization was 49.70 HOK per year and after agricultural mechanization decreased to 16.08 HOK per year. Meanwhile, the average income of female farm labourer before agricultural mechanization was Rp. 3.454.333 per year and the average income after agricultural mechanization is Rp. 1.043.667,- per year. This showed that there was a decrease in the income of female farm labourer in rice fields in Sungai Dua Village after the mechanization of agriculture, which amounted to Rp. 2.410.666 per year. The results of the t test showed that there were differences in work out time and income of female farm labourer on rice field activities before and after agricultural mechanization.
