The aims of this research are getting to know: encouraging the creation of social capital empowerment in the empowerment of fisherman based local institution with gender perspective in coastal area of Bantul regency. With descriptive qualitative research design, data collection techniques: in-depth interview; literature study, observation and FGD. The results showed that coastal villages in Bantul district have developed institutions and rules that effectively limit the rate of exploitation of natural resources. Characteristic of social capital of coastal community in research location indicated that dominant group is group of citizen (arisan, RT), pengajian, fisherman group and fisherman. Given that the dominant group resides in the internal environment of the settlement and consists of the settlement community itself, access to outside resources is limited. The level of participation in the group was quite good seen from the presence, material and non-material. The level of trust and solidarity is relatively high. Values are still firmly held and result in collective action and cooperation is relatively good enough. Social capital was more used for the fulfillment of daily needs (subsistence), is temporary and very personal. There was still a less supportive local culture, a wasteful life. Not many types of services could be expanded access because of the existence of a limited group. Social capital that supports the management of tourist destinations and coastal community empowerment in general need strengthening of related institutions, especially DKP, Dinpar and Disperindagkop Bantul regency more integrated. The caution of the coastal empowerment initiators resulted in coastal communities in Bantul district failing to develop social capital in the context of managing government resources such as bangdes funds, etc
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji upaya Dinas Pertanian Tanaman Pangan Kelautan dan Perikanan Kabupaten Bantul dalam mengoptimalkan pengelolaan dan pemasaran produksi perikanan. Selain itu, untuk mengetahui akses UMKM perikanan terhadap digital marketing. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan indepth interview, teknik dokumentasi, FGD (Focus Group Discussion) dan observasi partisipatoris. Teknik analisis data kualitatif meliputi (a) pengumpulan data; b) reduksi data c) penyajian data; d) simpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya Dinas Pertanian Tanaman Pangan Kelautan dan Perikanan Kabupaten Bantul dalam mengoptimalkan pengelolaan dan pemasaran Produksi Perikanan meliputi promosi hasil produksi perikanan kelautan; peningkatan kelembagaan Kelompok Pengolah dan Pemasar (Poklahsar), pelatihan Poklahsar dan monitoring mutu hasil perikanan yang beredar di masyarakat. Kendala yang dihadapi dalam penguasaan digital marketing sebagian besar disebabkan kekurangpahaman pelaku usaha tentang penggunaan internet dan tidak dimilikinya tenaga yang memahami teknologi informasi. Langkah strategis bagi penguatan UMKM dapat ditempuh melalui penambahan frekwensi pelatihan, studi banding dan mengintensifkan pendampingan literasi digital marketing pada kelompok pemasar.
This study aims to examine the manifestation of stakeholders' partnership in empowering community and the stages of actuating stakeholder ecotourism partnership in Dlingo district of Bantul regency. The study applied qualitative descriptive research design, focusing on primary data collected through structured interviews, questionnaires and direct observation in addition to secondary data. The research results demonstrate that tourism stakeholder partnership is a collaboration of government officials, universities, and CSR The pioneering collaboration has given birth to various tourism management trainings and art exhibitions. The study reveals that adequate and applicable planning is needed to develop tourist objects and attractions. The slow implementation of various policies concerning tourist area development is inseparable from the dearth of authority possessed by RPH and Dishutbun over forest management which is a national asset, resulting in procedures that seem convoluted. The research results also recommend the improvement of partnership involving various parties, especially in increasing the number and types of tourism and culinary trainings. The pattern of communication and coordination between pertinent institutions and tourism stakeholders should be intensified in solving problems in the field. Universities can contribute to scientific contributions in bridging the difficulties of the local village government in managing tourism in preserved forests.
Community service activity’s aims to strengthen fisheries institutions in order to overcome poverty, vulnerability, labor and gender equality because most of SME’s involving family members of fishermen and women. The several methods of implementation uses socialization include discourse, discussion, training, practice and evaluation. The approaches to the action program include 1) Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) model; 2) Entrepeneurship Capacity Building Model (ECB) and 3) Technology Transfer Model (TT). To strengthen the institution of fishermen’s bussiness, conducted periodic guidance program to groups who are members of Paguyuban Projomino Bantul. The results of the implementation of the activities that have been achieved: 1) the implementation of e-commerce socialization 2) on-line business training for early adopter 3) the plan of making fan page managed by community and entrepreneur of UMKM. The program is assessed by participants to increase their income and welfare. Program participants have a positive response considering that marketing with e-commerce can be integrated with konvensional marketing. The perceived effective empowerment method is on-line business training followed by mentoring. The synergy between the team, counselors and administrators supports the empowerment to run intensively and optimally so that the impact on the sustainability of the program.
