The article aimed to develop a methodology for monitoring the quality level of the synergistic effect of enterprises' economic activity in business network interaction on the example of mechanical engineering in Ukraine. Using the expert assessments of 386 senior and middle managers of 27 mechanical engineering enterprises of the Kharkiv region and the main components' method, the components of qualitative parameters of the synergetic effect of economic activity result from network interaction have been determined. An additive econometric model has been developed to calculate the integrated indicator of enterprises' economic activity's synergetic effect in terms of the business network of the studied enterprises. Using Fibonacci rules, the levels of qualitative component components and the integrated indicator of the synergy of economic activity in the context of a single network partner are determined.
During the economic crisis, to ensure sustainable development, the use of network forms of business organization in Ukraine is one of the most effective. However, given that business networks are hierarchical organizations, the problem of continuous monitoring of economic activity is updated to make the necessary effective management decisions. In this paper, using the structural and functional modeling method, a model is developed, which is an integral part of the methodological approach to assessing the business network effectiveness. The model combines empirical, theoretical and mathematical approaches to assessing the effectiveness of the network-based business organization and is based on a combination of qualitative and quantitative characteristics of business network activity. This approach ensures the objectivity of evaluating the properties of its functioning. A system of factors for a qualitative assessment of the effectiveness of a business network functioning was determined by an expert assessment method involving 40 managers of four companies in Ukraine. Determining the result deviations, in comparison with the accepted factors of the qualitative characteristics of networks, reveals the existing trends in the development of future events in terms of the risk of certain types of the business network activity. The results obtained are practical and will be useful for business network managers in developing an effective management strategy.
Розглянуто концепцію ощадливого виробництва як інструмент побудови оптимізованих технологічних, виробничих та управлінських систем, цінність, реальний потік створення цінності та втрати. Узагальнені шляхи і способи усунення основних видів втрат, що існують на підприємствах. Для успішної діяльності підприємств запропоновано побудову сучасних технологічних, виробничих та управлінських систем на базі інструментів ощадливого виробництва та принципах менеджменту, що базуються на безперервному вдосконаленні (Кайдзен) та реально можуть згенерувати якісні результати, після чого, фокусування переводиться на інші бізнес-процеси і функції, які у кінцевому рахунку спонукають до ініціатив для нових покращень і продовження створення цінностей. Використання інструментів та методів концепції ощадливого виробництва, побудова на їх основі оптимізованих систем, природно не забезпечить миттєвого збільшення продуктивності підприємства, адже lean-технологія працює спільно з правильним управлінням капіталом і скороченням витрат. Introduction. High efficiency of functioning of network business structures, in comparison to traditional forms of entrepreneurship organization, their adaptability and mutual interest of all participants of relations in achieving the goal, led to a great interest in the network form of entrepreneurship organization by scientists and their practical implementation. The purpose of the article is to clarify the essence of the term «network structure» based on the definition of its essential features and associative concepts from the standpoint of institutional, collaborative and coordination approaches. Results. The semantic network was constructed as the analysis result of the concept of «network structure» using the content analysis method implemented in the software product TextAnalyst that characterizes the key categories that are related to the essence of the concept of network business structure. It is determined that associative concepts of network structure are: organization, interaction, association, management structure, a form of management, coordination, cooperation, alliance, structured population, integration, corporate structure, relations, coalition. Using the content analysis three approaches to explaining the essence of the concept «network business structure» were distinguished: institutional (according to which the network structure is considered as the organizational structure of the company), collaborative approach (network structure as a system of interconnections between structural elements) and coordination approach (network structure as a form of managing peer-to-peer entities to achieve common business goals). Conclusions. Based on the integration of selected approaches to explaining the essence of the concept under the network business structure, it is proposed to understand the hybrid form of interaction of business structures that operate on the basis of quasi-integration forms of control in order to achieve a synergistic effect in the realization of common economic interests. The proposed concept, unlike the existing ones, is based on a comprehensive consideration of the stages’ peculiarities of network forms development of business activity and reflects the essential features of an institutional, collaborative, coordination approach in the functioning of business structures. Introduction. Each stage of the life cycle of the enterprise is characterized by features in the provision of tangible and intangible resources, potential, and areas of its use, which causes differences in determining the prospects for the development of network enterprises. The article aims to determine the features of managing the development of business networks depending on their stage of the life cycle. Results. An econometric approach to determining the quantitative criteria for identifying each phase of the life cycle of network enterprises has been developed using questionnaire methods, fuzzy sets, and integrated estimation. The approbation of the proposed approach was carried out based on network enterprises of the machine-building industry of the Kharkiv region for 2015-2019. By building linear multifactor regression models, key factors-components of synergetic effect, social synergy have been defined, affecting network enterprises' efficiency. Conclusions. According to the study results, determined that at the growth stage, the priority factors of the development of network enterprises are the achievement of the synergy of strategic management, labor potential management, information, and communication synergy. At the maturity stage, enterprises' development is ensured by the positive synergetic effect of strategic management, innovation-technological and information-communication synergy. At the stage of decline by restoring the solvency of enterprises is the development of synergies of strategic management, synergies of labor potential management, innovation, and technological synergies. The emphasis on the development of these components of the synergetic effect of network interaction forms the priority areas for managing the development of network enterprises depending on their stage of the life cycle.
