The article highlights the necessity to develop creative thinking of future economists and managers in the process of foreign language learning. Creative thinking is considered as an essential competence of future specialists. Different approaches to the definition of creative thinking are given in the article. The most important components, features and characteristics of creative thinking of students of economic and managerial specialties are presented by the author. The article reveals the most effective teaching methods for students’ creative thinking development in the process of teaching English to future specialists. A system of language activities aiming to develop creative thinking of students of economic and managerial specialties has been elaborated by the author. It comprises a range of interactive activities such as creative writing, describing a picture, creative projects, brainwriting, finding a connection, creative reading, game-based activities. A detailed description, aim of development of particular creative thinking skills, stages and special recommendations for the successful implementation of the system of language activities are presented in the article. The author underlines a great potential of English classes for the purpose to foster students’ creativity and make the process of foreign language learning more interesting, student involved and personally oriented. Conclusions of the scientific research and further researches are disclosed. It is also emphasized that creative thinking skills of future specialists can be developed in the process of extra curriculum activities. Thus, creation and functioning of students’ problem group on creativity development in the process of learning English has been proposed as one of the effective means for fostering students’ creativity
The article deals with the problems of second foreign language teaching to non-linguistic-majoring students based on plurilingual approach. The concept of plurilingualism is defined in the article. The principles of second foreign language learning are revealed, comparative characteristics of English, French, German and Polish for their successful acquiring and use in professional activity (for special purposes) are given. New teaching methods for ensuring plurilingual abilities of future specialists in Economics, Law, and Landscape Gardening are worked out, recommendations for the efficiency of second foreign language teaching are considered. Special attention is paid to plurilingual approach while fulfilment of the given research.

This paper presents innovative approaches to improving lexical competence of non-linguistic students. The authors analyze the concept of terminological vocabulary in professional discourse, paying special attention to peculiarities of teaching vocational-oriented vocabulary to non-linguistic majoring students. Pedagogical technologies based on plurilingual approach in teaching professionally oriented vocabulary are offered in this article. The authors disclose the main features of acquiring professionally oriented vocabulary in distance learning and its effect on the learning process. Furthermore, the best practices for the English-German-French combination are explored in teaching non-linguistic students professionnally oriented vocabulary from a plurilingual and communicative perspective. The findings also show that these activities not only motivate learners to be engaged in meaningful language learning experience, but also encourage them to improve their plurilingual communicative competence, therefore enrich their professionnally oriented vocabulary. The focus lies on exploring the use of plurilingual approach as an effective means for improving professional linguistic competence. Recommendations for teachers and non-linguistic students on mastering their professionnally oriented vocabulary are presented in this paper.
