The article reveals the issues of solidarity of efforts as a common condition for the survival of the world in a pandemic. The changing situation and its reassessment, the transition to new stages of development attest to the viability of society. Crises put a society or a person in a marginal position or a neutral zone, that is, in a situation where the usual stereotypes and behaviour are no longer working and there are no new ones. The crisis is of an ambivalent nature. On the one hand, it motivates people and social communities to find new ways, solutions, resources to acquire new skills, knowledge and as a consequence to develop. On the other hand, it demonstrates a serious imbalance, inconsistency, loss of equilibrium in the interaction of different social and natural systems and the consumer's attitude towards the environment, etc. Human society, including its current coherent subsystems, must become coherent with other living systems. Therefore, there is a need for a new paradigm of vision for social functions and structures and for human responsibility on a planetary scale.

Modern technical innovations are marked by an extremely powerful symbiosis with scientific achievements. Today, there are a number of technologies that can reproduce human thinking and such skills as understanding complex information, drawing independent conclusions, and the ability to engage in meaningful and coherent dialogue. They testify to the possibility of innovative achievements in neuroscience to individually assess the level of concentration and perseverance of students, pace, best time to learn, etc. The robots are not able to inspire despite their computing power, simplicity of interface and ability to store information. They lack empathic abilities. They do not fully promote the realization of social skills. The global pandemic has actualized and intensified the introduction of artificial intelligence in the practice of education. Researchers have expressed a number of concerns that artificial intelligence in exchange for the rapid acquisition and effective use of a variety of information by a person will help to do levelling of the spiritual and emotional sphere of a person, i.e. "human nature in a human being."
La actualidad de la investigación se confirma con el impacto controlado y activo del proceso de educación patriótico-militar de los futuros oficiales de la guardia fronteriza a través del método experimental. El objetivo del artículo es analizar los resultados de la investigación experimental sobre la eficiencia de las condiciones pedagógicas de la educación patriótica militar en los sujetos en cuestión. Los resultados de la investigación atestiguan que las condiciones pedagógicas de los autores tuvieron un impacto positivo en la educación patriótica militar de los cadetes. El análisis de resultados confirmó la hipótesis propuesta sobre la eficiencia de ciertas condiciones pedagógicas de la educación patriótica-militar de los futuros oficiales de la guardia fronteriza y la posibilidad de utilizarlas en la práctica.
At the present stage of the development of international relations, the role of professional terminology is constantly growing. On the one hand, it is connected with the rapid development of all spheres of social life, science, and technology, and on the other hand - with the penetration of information technology in all spheres of human life. A term is a language unit, so it is characterized by having specific functions. The choice of the terminological scope is predetermined by the rapid growth of international relations and the development of the appropriate vocabulary of the border protection sphere. A border protection term is a lexeme possessing main features of a unit of a terminological system, including functions. Our research focuses on the analysis of the border protection terms functions and on their difference from the common language functions. The functions (nominative, descriptive, signifying, communicative and cognitive) are interrelated and expose different facets of a term.
