Pujon, Malang is the largest milk producer in East Java. Nevertheless, the productivity and farm size are at low level. It indicates that entrepreneurial competencies of dairy farmers at poor level. This research presents the results from depth interview with 105 dairy farmers in Malang Regency, East Java. Based on this information, it can be concluded that entrepreneurial competencies of respondents are at low level on strategic skills, and middle level on leadership and technical management skills, Entrepreneurial competencies are generated positively by personal orientation (interest of dairy farmers in group activities, and risk taking behavior, and demographic characteristic (working experience). It has a positive relationship to successful business. Interest of dairy farmers in group activites improvement could up grade the personal orientation, entrepreneurial competencies, and successful business.
SMEs in the food and beverage sector should be a responsive business for reaching consumers more effectively, expanding the market, and reducing consumer transaction costs. Still, many SMEs’ in the food and beverage sector are hesitant to use social media due to lack of some aspects in their business platforms. The study aims to give an overview model of the innovation marketing process by emphasizing the characteristics of SMEs’, which is simultaneously associated with marketing mix. The proposed model combined the TOE model and characteristics with a marketing mix using SEM on 198 SMEs in the Indonesian food and beverage sector. The findings proved that each technological, environmental, organizational, and characteristics are positively related to each of the people and processes. The management team roles in innovative solutions and contingencies of a complex environment gave the highest positive effects to technology and environment. However, technology does not always facilitate the work process, the quality of result, and process consistency for more efficiency. There are highlight points, i.e. the clear visibility of employee appraisals process for bridging the gap of competencies; using perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived trust for generating business ideas, and attracting new customers.
College students are a new degree for students who have just graduated from high school and are studying in college. New students will live their new lives and be faced with changes both in the lecture environment and where they live, especially for new students who are wandering. In this case, the freshman needs to adjust to be able to live comfortably without pressure in his new environment. . New students need help adjusting to the new environment and world of study. Such assistance can be in the form of social support. The existence of assistance in the form of social support in the process of self-adjustment affects the mental health of new students. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between social support and self-adjustment in wandering freshmen and their effect on mental health.
Covid 19 adalah virus corona yang sangat mudah menular di mana peningkatan imunitas tubuh adalah salah satu usaha yang dapat dilakukan untuk menghindarkan diri dari penularannya. Konsumsi pangan sehat sangat menentukan kemampuan tubuh kita dalam membentuk antibody. Nori berbahan rumput laut yang dikombinasikan dengan berbagai sayuran hijau merupakan salah satu pilihan pangan selama masa pandemic ini. Tujuan dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mahasiswa dan alumni dalam membuat dan mengkonsumsi nori rumput laut yang dapat meningkatkan imunitas tubuh terutama selama masa pandemi. Mahasiswa dan alumni adalah agen penggerak yang diharapkan dapat mensosialisasikan hasil kegiatan ini kepada masyarakat luas, sehingga masyarakat dapat secara simultan masing-masing meningkatkan imunitas tubuhnya dan dapat terjaga dan terhindar dari penularan virus covid 19. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 18 peserta yang terdiri dari mahasiswa dan alumni jurusan Ilmu Kelautan FMIPA UNTAN.
