It is important to remember that learning outcomes are not the only thing students accomplish, but attitude is also a major learning output. The study purpose was to investigate students’ attitudes, especially regarding the attitude toward nonlinear pedagogy (ATNP), according to gender and grade level in Yogyakarta. Materials and methods. The study involved 1,160 kids who were in fifth grade in primary schools and in eighth grade in secondary schools. A total of 18 schools from around the province were included in the study. The Test of Science Related Attitudes (TOSRA) was used to gather data. This questionnaire is effective for gathering descriptions of students’ attitudes toward nonlinear pedagogy scores for a specific set of participants, since it uses the Likert scale. Results. The study findings show students have quite different levels of excitement for nonlinear science learning. The male students in primary school have a higher positive attitude than the female students do, (M = 36.75; p < 0.001). The male students exhibit a more eager attitude than the female students do in junior high schools (M = 35.78; p < 0.001). The data revealed that the male students in secondary schools have more positive attitudes than the female students do (8.23, M>F). According to the grade level of the school, the male students’ ATNP at the elementary level is more positive than in junior high schools. Conclusions. The statistics show that students’ opinions toward nonlinear teaching are similar in elementary and secondary schools regardless of the grade level of the schools. Even still, most secondary school students find physical education less enjoyable than it was in elementary school. This fact provides instructors of physical education with user input. This finding is encouraging for students looking for strategies to bridge the gender gap in classroom settings. The effects of nonlinear pedagogy are also explored.
Abstract: This study aims to: (1) Context of the relevance Physical Education syllabus to content and graduate standards; (2) Input descriptions of the students, teachers' characteristics, and available facilities and infrastructure, (3) process of teaching and learning activities, and (4) Physical education learning products. This study is an evaluation study to determine the learning of physical education in SMA Negeri Yogyakarta using the CIPP model. This research was conducted in Yogyakarta City Senior High Schools, namely SMAN 1, SMAN 4, and SMAN 11 Yogyakarta. The research subjects consisted of a population of 665 people and a research sample of 180 people and 6 teachers. The results of the study are as follows (1) Context Evaluation, the relevance syllabus used by teachers regarding content standards, and graduate competencies. (2) Input Evaluation: Students who are in the good category in training from school origin, parents' occupations, interests, teacher qualifications seen from their last education, teaching experience, physical education learning requirements and learning facilities are very good. (3) Process evaluation, lesson plans have referred to the syllabus are not optimal, teacher activities are sufficient (mean 36), student activities are insufficient category (average 28.5), and teaching and learning activities are included insufficient (mean 1.38 ); (4) Product Evaluation, the category for evaluating the results of the assessment is good, this competency includes the value of physical education and character for students in the good category.
Abstract. Nonlinear pedagogy has the potential to be an effective strategy for teaching and studying physical education in elementary school a way that allows students to develop their skills. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of physical education teacher readiness in implementing nonlinear pedagogy learning in Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. This Study used an experimental method with one group pre-test-post-test design. The research participants were physical education teachers in elementary schools in Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines (n = 90). 40 question online survey with a validity level of 0.74 and a reliability level of 0.80 is used to assess teacher preparedness for implementing nonlinear learning. With the aid of a literature review, secondary data was gathered. The paired sample t-test results revealed that 0.05 > 0.000, indicating that the data variance was the same. The significance result indicates that 0.000 < 0.05 (confidence interval = 99%) when looking at the assumed equal variances, which means that H0 is rejected. According to the data, there are 25 teachers or 27,8% who are ready to carry out nonlinear pedagogy learning, 42 teachers or 46,7% are not ready, and 23 teachers or 25,5% are unprepared. Nonlinear pedagogy learning has an effect on PE teachers' readiness in the three countries. The intended effect is to demonstrate that PE teachers are not ready to use nonlinear pedagogy in their lessons. The recommendation from the finding is that teachers need training in nonlinear pedagogy and adequate support to succeed in nonlinear pedagogy learning. Key words: Elementary school, Nonlinear pedagogy, Physical education.
Children with special needs to be given special behavior in learning in inclusive schools, it is necessary to prepare learning plans that can be used for children with special needs in schools. It is necessary to provide understanding and learning for students about learning children with special needs in inclusive schools. This research was conducted on students of Sports Education, Yogyakarta State University with a total of 47 students as research subjects. The data analysis technique used in this research is according to the stages of the research conducted or selected by the researcher using the survey method. The results showed that of the 47 respondents who were given the questionnaire, 93% were obtained in the "adequate" category. This shows that Adaptive Physical Education textbooks really need to be made because references to Adaptive Physical Education materials are still very limited. It is hoped that the Adaptive Physical Education book will be able to help add references and insights to the handling of learning activities for Adaptive Physical Education for Children with Special Needs.
