Information Technology (IT) can be an important component for innovation as enables e-learning and it can provide conditions for an organization to be able to work with new businesses and improved processes. In this regard, Learning Management Systems (LMS) allow communication and interaction between teachers and students in virtual spaces. However, the literature indicates that there are gaps in research, especially concerning the use of IT for the management of e-learning. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the available literature about the application of LMS for the e-learning management, seeking to present possibilities for research in the field. An integrative literature review was performed considering the Web of Science, Scopus, Ebsco and Scielo databases, where 78 references were found, of which 25 were full papers. By eliminating duplication, 14 papers remained, which came to constitute the portfolio of the study. The analysis of the papers allowed to conclude that: 1) the most frequent research strategy was the quantitative; 2) survey was the most used research design; 3) the most frequent categories in the studied educational platforms belong to Instructional Resources and the less frequently ones belong to Interface and, 4) most of the studies are related to administrative function control; 5) LMS in e-learning management is still incipiently discussed in the literature. RESUMO Os serviços de governo eletrônico deveriam estar disponíveis em canais de governo adequados aos cidadãos, porém sua adoção ainda está distante mundialmente de um nível satisfatório. Neste artigo buscou-se mapear, no âmbito internacional, os estudos quantitativos sobre adoção de tecnologias de serviços de governo eletrônico. Foram localizados 40 artigos, publicados em 22 periódicos. The article focuses on aspects that confirm the relevance of the Institutional Development Plan - PDI - in structuring the planning and management of higher education institutions, with aspects that corroborate this fact in the various institutional models in contemporary society nationwide. The tour lists theoretical aspects related to the conceptual foundations of the university planning, the importance of Decree 5773/06 on the establishment of the PDI, the contribution of documents in the process of institutional management and planning process in institutions of higher education under the light of the IDP as an instrument of strategic focus at the heart of the institutions. For this, the interactions occur under the methodological foundations of academic research, documentary character of indirect and that is classified as being descriptive-explanatory, largely qualitative and designated as a research participant. The constructivist research allowed to conclude, among other purposes, that the Institutional Development Plan is a structural factor in the strategic management directed to the use of indicators specifically related to the institutional model advocated by IES, and contribute in building an institutional assessment process systematically, formative and crucial to the institutional good points
There has been an increasing public demand for passenger rail service in the recent times leading to a strong focus on the need for effective and efficient use of resources and managing the increasing passenger requirements, service reliability and variability by the railway management. Whilst shortening the passengers' waiting and travelling time is important for commuter satisfaction, lowering operational costs is equally important for railway management. Hence, effective and cost optimised train scheduling based on the dynamic passenger demand is one of the main issues for passenger railway management. Although the passenger railway scheduling problem has received attention in operations research in recent years, there is limited literature investigating the adoption of practical approaches that capitalize on the merits of mathematical modeling and search algorithms for effective cost optimization. This paper develops a hybrid fuzzy logic based genetic algorithm model to solve the multi-objective passenger railway scheduling problem aiming to optimize total operational costs at a satisfactory level of customer service. This hybrid approach integrates genetic algorithm with the fuzzy logic approach which uses the fuzzy controller to determine the crossover rate and mutation rate in genetic algorithm approach in the optimization process. The numerical study demonstrates the improvement of the proposed hybrid approach, and the fuzzy genetic algorithm has demonstrated its effectiveness to generate better results than standard genetic algorithm and other traditional heuristic approaches, such as simulated annealing.
