Most earlier work on text summarization is carried out on news article datasets. The summary in these datasets is naturally located at the beginning of the text. Hence, a model can spuriously utilize this correlation for summary generation instead of truly learning to summarize. To address this issue, we constructed a new dataset, SUMPUBMED, using scientific articles from the PubMed archive. We conducted a human analysis of summary coverage, redundancy, readability, coherence, and informativeness on SUMPUBMED. SUMPUBMED is challenging because (a) the summary is distributed throughout the text (not-localized on top), and (b) it contains rare domain-specific scientific terms. We observe that seq2seq models that adequately summarize news articles struggle to summarize SUMPUBMED. Thus, SUMPUBMED opens new avenues for the future improvement of models as well as the development of new evaluation metrics.
United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 5 advocates for the promotion of gender equality. It ensures women’s full and effective participation and equal opportunities for leadership at all levels of decision making in politics. Females have a right to vote in elections, be elected to government office, serve on boards, and make their voices heard in any process that will ultimately affect them, their families, and their communities. Investing women’s right to political participation is a necessary step to achieve global gender equality and democratic governance. The paper aims to analyze the spatio- temporal participation of women in assembly elections of 2005, 2010 and 2015 in Patna District, to find out association between women’s literacy levels and voting among women in the study area, and to identify motivational and situational constraints of women’s participation in electoral process. For the present study, Patna district has been selected as the study area. The author adopted questionnaire survey and key informant interviews as a means for data collection. The growing participation of women in elections indicates a silent movement of women empowerment. It is found that there is a rising trend in the voting participation of women in the study area. Both literate and illiterate groups are conscious about their voting rights.
In computation involving matrices it is frequently necessary to interchange or rearrange rows or columns of a matrix. If the work is being done longhand or with a desk calculator, it is desirable to be able to perform the rearrangement without having to erase or rewrite numbers. In mathematics, matrix addition or subtraction, multiplication or the matrix product or any other arithmetic operation is a binary operation that produces a matrix from two matrices. The matrix manipulator was devised for the use in the Bureau’s statistical Engineering Laboratory for calculation with incidence matrices, i.e., matrices whose element are all 0’s or 1’s. So, through this project we will show how the matrix manipulation is taking place using MIPS programming language. MIPS is a reduced instruction set computer set architecture developed by MIPS Technologies. The early MIPS architecture was 32-bit with 64-bit versions added later. Also, the project is compiled to show Matrix addition of two different matrices, subtraction of two different matrices, multiplication, transpose, determinant, scaling of matrix.
A MANET is a group of self-governing mobile nodes which can interact over relative bandwidth and power constrained wireless links. As the nodes mobility are high so the network topology changes faster and dynamically. In MANET there is no architecture. Routing functionality such as route finding, topology finding, and message delivery from source to destination are performed by node itself as there is no centralized network. In this paper we will study various weighted clustering algorithm which boosts the ability of network and decreases the routing overheads in order to bring more resourceful and effective routing in MANET .There are basically two mechanisms in every clustering algorithm (1)Cluster Formation (2)Cluster Maintenance. In cluster formation, cluster heads are nominated among the node available in a network to form the hierarchal network. In cluster maintenance, a exclusive mechanism is needed so that cluster head can keep up all the changes performed in a network when any cluster changes occurred due to mobility of nodes.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
