<p>The purpose of this research is to analyze the development of the learning model Reciprocal Teaching Pair Share (RTPS) in improving student learning outcomes microbiology and testing the effectiveness of the learning model Reciprocal Teaching Pair Share (RTPS) in improving student learning outcomes at the Teachers' Training College Budi Utomo. The model used in this research is the development model of Thiagarajan 4D (1974). The 4D model has four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Design test for individual testing and small scale trial is descriptive, whereas for largescale field trials using quasi-experimental. Data were analyzed using General Linear Model (GLM)-Multivariate SPSS 16. The results showed that the development model of reciprocal teaching decentpair share used in learning activities. The results of large-scale trial could be concluded no effect onthe learning model of cognitive learning outcomes of students. Besides the development of a model reciprocal teaching pair share effective in improving student learning outcomes microbiology Budi Utomo Malang Teachers' Training College.</p>
The lack of availability of inquiry-based teaching materials causes student thinking to be less systematic. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of inquiry-based microbiology teaching materials on students' critical thinking skills at IKIP Budi Utomo. This type of research is quasi-experiment with testing validity using the bivariate correlation method according to Pearson, while reliability testing uses the Cronbach Alpha method. The pretest values were tested using the t-test for free samples, while the difference between pretest and posttest in the trial class was analyzed using the General Linear Model (GLM) - Repeated Measures. Posttest value difference, the value of critical thinking skills, using the General Linear Model (GLM) - Multivariate. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence between the development of inquiry-based instructional materials on students' thinking skills. This is shown to be significant at 0,000. In addition, there are meaningful differences in critical thinking skills, there are also mean differences of 19,000 for the control class and 23.4285 in the treatment class. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an influence of inquiry-based microbiology teaching materials on the critical thinking ability of Budi Utomo IKIP students.
Guna meningkatkan kinerja usaha kerupuk rumahan di desa Kembang Kabupaten Pacitan, dilaksanakan program pengabdian berupa pendapingan bertajuk Iptek bagi Masyarakat. Dipilih dua mitra program IbM yang secara bersama menyusun rencana kerja, mendapatkan pelatihan produksi kerupuk dan menejemen usaha, mendapatkan bantuan peralatan, dan bantuan pendampingan pada proses produksi dan pemasaran. Program dilaksanakan mulai bulan Februari sampai dengan September 2017. Kedua varian kerupuk baru yang dihasilkan oleh kedua mitra program IbM memenuhi standar mutu gizi, mikrobiologis dan daya simpan yang baik serta mendapatkan respon positif dari konsumen. Kinerja usaha kedua produk kerupuk varian baru juga sangat baik dengan prosentase penjualan yang sangat tinggi, yakni lebih dari 90%, jangka laku 100% yang singkat, yakni 1-2 hari dan tingkat pengembalian biaya produksi mencapai 1,5 kali. Program IbM dapat membuka jalan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan teknik produksi, peningkatan volum penjualan dan kinerja usaha, alternatif penjualan dalam bentuk kerupuk mentah, serta memberikan ide kreasi varian baru di masa mendatang.
Limbah cair tahu di lokasi penelitian meliputi amilum sebesar 4,032%, protein 1,415%, pH 4,35, BOD 352,737 mg/l, dan COD sebesar 474 mg/l, dan jumlahnya melebihi melebihi Nilai Ambang Batas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mengetahui biodegradasi limbah cair tahu menggunakan bakteri indigen yang potensial mereduksi protein dan karbohidrat, pH dan BOD serta COD secara in vitro, (2) Mengetahui hasil penelitian tentang biodegradasi limbah cair tahu dari mikroorganisme indigen dapat digunakan sebagai bahan penyusunan bahan ajar Mikrobiologi Lingkungan di Perguruan Tinggi. Rancangan penelitian eksperimen yaitu uji biodegradasi in vitro menggunakan RAK secara Faktorial, dengan perlakuan pertama yaitu variasi jenis isolat dan waktu inkubasi. Eksperimen kedua dengan perlakuan variasi volume starter dan waktu inkubasi yang berpengaruh terhadap uji reduksi amilum dan protein, pH, BOD, dan COD. Kedua penelitian eksperimen tersebut dianalisis dengan menggunakan Anava Ganda, dilanjutkan uji Duncan Multiple Range Test untuk melihat perbedaan signifikasi variasi uji perlakuan. Hasil penelitian isolat A/F dengan waktu inkubasi 6 hari diperoleh hasil: Protein (1,206-0,191), Amilum (3,651-1,255), pH (4,35-6,25), BOD (352,737-125,095), COD (474-150). Sedangkan isolat M diperoleh hasil: protein (1,189-0,402), amilum (3,488-1,934), pH (4,35-6,2), BOD (352,737-216,152), COD (474-186). Volume starter 5% dan waktu inkubasi 6 hari diperoleh hasil: amilum (3,46 mg/l-1,48 mg/l), protein (1,27 mg/l-0,19 mg/l), pH (4,35-6,5), BOD (318 mg/l-125 mg/l), COD (450 mg/l-180 mg/l). Kesimpulan hasil penelitian, yaitu: Perlakuan variasi volume starter 5% dan waktu inkubasi 6 hari, efisien mereduksi amilum, protein, menaikkan pH, menurunkan BOD dan COD. Hasil penelitian digunakan sebagai bahan penyusun bahan ajar mikrobiologi lingkungan di perguruan tinggi.
Good student learning outcomes, one of which is determined by student motivation is in terms of fostering passion, pleasure and enthusiasm. one of them is the selection of learning models that are in accordance with the characteristics of students and subject matter. TTW is a learning model that facilitates verbal training orally and writes the language smoothly. The learning model encourages students to think, speak, and then write a particular topic. aims to find out whether there is influence of Think Talk Write (TTW) assisted learning media images on cognitive learning outcomes and student motivation on respiratory system material class VIII SMP Negeri 5 Kodi Academic Year 2017/2018. This type of research is quasi-experimental using the pretest postest desing research design. Population in even semester. This research sample consists of 2 classes, namely class VIII A as many as 30 students as an experimental class and class VIIIB as many as 30 students as a control class. Data analysis techniques use normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing using the Anacova test at a significant level of 5%. Based on the results of the study showed that the average learning outcomes of students who obtained learning with Think Talk Write-assisted learning models of media images obtained an average of 80.86 while the average learning outcomes of students who did not use media-based Think Talk Write learning models were obtained flat 73.96. The conclusion of the study is that there is an influence of students' understanding that is taught by using the media-assisted Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model with learning without using a model (0,000 <0,05). This learning model is proven that it can improve results student understanding.
