This research aims to explore the implementation of the blended learning model and describe the teacher’s perceptions of the constraints and positive impacts of applied learning. This research method uses a descriptive quantitative approach. A total of 41 respondents of mechanical engineering vocational teachers followed the filling of the instruments. Data were collected using a questionnaire in the form of respondent data, learning models used by vocational teachers and perceptions of vocational teachers. The findings of data explanatory research that are different from the implementation of the learning carried out are: (1) online theory learning without practice tends to use the Cooperative Learning of 14.63% and Problem Based Learning of 12.20%, (2) online theory learning with online practice, tends to use the Project Based Learning of 12.20%, (3) Online theory learning with offline practice, tends to use the Project Based Learning of 14.63%, and (4) learning with offline practice tends to choose inquiry learning and Project Based Learning of 2.44%. The main constraints that serve teachers are internet access and limited network availability, the positive impact on the general is the use of ICT. An important finding in this study is that vocational teachers must be able to organize learning evenly.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dan pengembangan (research and development) yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan jobsheet pada mata kuliah kerja pelat yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Program Studi Pendidikan teknik Mesin Universitas Sriwijaya. Subjek penelitian adalah 2 orang ahli media dan materi serta 25 mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Universitas Sriwijaya angkatan 2015 dan objek penelitian adalah jobsheet. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yakni: potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan informasi, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, uji coba pemakaian, revisi produk dan produk massal. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angke dan kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan skala likert. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan adalah jobsheet dinyatakan valid pada materi dan media dengan rata-rata skor 89% dan 88%. Hasil dari uji coba produk dan uji coba pemakaian kepraktisan menyatakan bahwa jobsheet praktis dengan rata-rata skor adalah 83% dan 82%. Sehingga jobsheet ini layak untuk digunakan.
This study aims to explore the implementation of vocational learning in the new normal era related to the content, assignment forms, class management, and describe teacher innovations and hope. The research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive approach with a research instrument is a questionnaire. The questionnaire was given to 46 respondents consisting of mechanical engineering vocational teachers from several regions in Indonesia. The questionnaire consists of two categories, namely statements with an option and statements with open answers. The findings of this study are based on two categories, namely theoretical and practical learning. The results reveal that in theory learning, teachers prefer to share material with students in various forms, including PDF, PPT, Video, and others (17.56%), assigning forms in summarizing material (25.19%), and with the full class (47.78%). In contrast, in practical learning, the teacher conducted learning with a system block (5.85%), gave assignments in the form of making projects or products (6.93%), and with half-class management combined with online classes (7.78%). Another finding is the innovation applied by teachers is developing technology-based learning materials and using online platforms. In the new era's learning situation, normal teachers expect a flexible curriculum, as well as standardized, effective, and efficient media, models, methods, and learning platforms. In the learning practice, the teacher expects practice videos and simulation applications that are expected to be by following the expected basic competencies and being equipped with learning practices with the application of health protocols and students' numbers.
This research aims to vaccinate the level of knowledge and attitude achievement of students of State VHS 2 Yogyakarta and VHS Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta on the implementation of blended learning. The research method used mixed methods sequential explanatory, research samples 83 respondents and 6 interview informants. Data collection techniques in the form of tests, observations and interviews. The validity test was conducted by experts and tested to 30 respondents. Test questions in the form of multiple choice that refers to the syllabus, while the observation of attitude consists of eight aspects, namely discipline, responsibility, honesty, cooperation, creative thinking, courtesy, self-reliant and confident. The results showed that the level of student knowledge achievement in the implementation of blended learning by 77% of the category is quite good and the achievement rate of student attitude in the implementation of blended learning by 83% of the category is very good.
