The aim is that governance relations involving the Government, the private sector and the community can be created in such a way that they are more effective, efficient, productive and responsive. Prabumulih City is one of the Autonomous Regions in Indonesia that has implemented e-government through the website, with the address www.prabumulih.go.id. This study refers to the Website Usability Evaluation (WEBUSE) approach to evaluate usability on the Prabumulih City Government website with the dimensions of Content, Organization and Readibility, Navigation and Link, User Interface Design and Performance and Efficiency. Website Usability Evaluation (WEBUSE) focuses on developing a web-based usability evaluation system with a subjective action approach that involves the participation of users to provide an assessment on a website. The development of the Website Usability Evaluation (WEBUSE) approach as a standard usability measurement, with a webbased questionnaire evaluation method that allows users to assess the usability of the website to be evaluated The purpose of this study is to determine the usability level of the Prabumulih City Government website so that Prabumulih City Government can provide optimal service to users.
Indonesia was one of the first countries in the world to implement legislation mandating businesses to undertake Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Different with other countries with their voluntary approach of CSR, the legislation makes CSR as a mandate to business in Indonesia. Through document analysis method, this study analyses six laws related to CSR in Indonesia to define the mandate of CSR legislation in order to understand the form of CSR should be practiced by companies operating in Indonesia. Indonesia as one of the developing countries may require sufficient fund for their local development. CSR may be seen as a source of fund for local development. Therefore, CSR legislation in the country provides mechanism for wealth or resource distribution of companies for local government to develop local communities.
The Research aimst to compare backpropagation and Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) methods in exploring the potential of new students at STMIK PalComTech. Comparisons in this study involve four input variables used which consist of four basic subjects of informatics engineering and information systems (math, basic programming, computer networks and management bases) which then make informatics techniques and information systems as outputs, to get the accuracy level high in this study, the researchers used several variations of parameters which eventually produced the best accuracy of the two methods. From 120 data tested using variations in test data and training data which are then processed using variations in the learning rate parameters and epochs. From the test results obtained the level of accuracy of pattern recognition in the backpropagation method is 99.17% with a learning rate variation of 0.1 and epoch 100, the learning vector quantization method has an accuracy rate of 96.67% with a variation of learning rate 1 and epoch 20 From the results of the comparison the Backpropagation method is superior in terms of accuracy so that it becomes the right method to use in exploring the potential of new students at STMIK PalComTech.
The mandate of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Indonesia through various laws and regulations, provide an alternative source of funding for local government for the development and the provision of basic services in their area. However, the process of integrating business CSR with local development program must consider the perception of all relevant stakeholders, namely local government officials and staff or managers managing CSR programs in the company. Business CSR are often placed as an instrument for companies to achieve its interest, such as to obtain a social license, reputation and security of business. This study is aimed at understanding business perceptions in integrating business CSR with local development program. The study took place in Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra province, which is known as a regent where many mining and plantation companies operating in the region. The method used is a descriptive qualitative research method by conducting unstructured interviews with managers and staff of 10 business companies in this region. The study found that there were differences in perceptions of managers and staff towards the integration of CSR with local development programs. The differences of perception is occurred as the local government is still not adopted the business interests. This can be used as a guideline for all parties as a first step to integrate CSR programs with regional development planning.
