High-volume haemofiltration at 6 L/h may seem to successfully remove some inflammatory cytokines in septic patients. The improvement in the SOFA scores at day 7 promises benefit of continuous renal replacement therapy in septic patients, but after 20 days this effect may be lost. In addition, the baseline serum IL-6 and IL-1-ra were independent predictors of a poor outcome as reflected by the higher SOFA scores at day 1.
Both calcium alone and calcitriol + calcium preserved lumbar spine BMD in premenopausal patients with SLE taking longterm CS at 2 years, whereas alendronate + calcium led to increases in BMD in lumbar spine and total hip. Premenopausal women taking CS should be considered for osteoporosis prophylaxis.
We propose that experienced HD nursing staff be trained in the use of the BCM or other simple bioimpedance machines to help monitor patient overhydration and approximate dry weight in consultation with the nephrologists responsible for the care of these patients so as to obviate excessive residual overhydration between nephrology reviews.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar Pembelajaran Tematik Terpadu Berbasis Model Project Based Learning (PjBL) yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV SDN 19 Baringin Kota Padang Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan model 4-D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu: define, design, develop dan disseminate. Instrumen pengumpulan datanya yaitu: instrument validasi berupa lembar validasi bahan ajar. Instrumen praktikalitas berupa angket respon guru dan angket respon siswa, instrument keefektifan berupa lembar test hasil belajar dan lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Dihasilkan bahan ajar tematik terpadu berbasis model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan dengan nilai rata-rata 4,6 yang termasuk pada kategori sangat valid, (2) Praktikalitas penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan tingkat kepraktisan mencapai 3,2 pada kategori praktis, dan angket respon peserta didik setelah menggunakan bahan ajar yang telah dikembangkan dengan tingkat kepraktisan 3,57 pada kategori sangat praktis dan (3) Efektivitas penggunaan bahan ajar tematik terpadu berbasis model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan kategori sangat baik
The purpose of this research is to examine the effectiveness of student worksheet (LKPD) based on realistic mathematics educations (RME) of class VIII of Junior High School. This is a development research with Plomp Model. The research design employs quasi experiments with Only-Posttest Control Group Design. This research took place in Public Junior High School (SMPN) Padang of class VIII. The sample is determined by purposive sampling. The treatment toward experiment group is learning by using LKPD based on RME. Meanwhile, control group is using student book according to curriculum 2013. The research instruments are test items, learning observation sheet, and learning device which had been tested for validity and practicality in the development research stage. Data analysis is conducted through t test for the mean difference test and the Scheffe test for the effectiveness of the LKPD test. The research result showed that students’ mathematical communication ability of class VIII of Junior High School (SMP) by using LKPD based on RME is better than student who uses student book. Finally, it can be concluded that LKPD based on RME is effective in improving students’ mathematical communication ability.
