Appropriate learning has a major impact on students, such as developing creativity, critical thinking skills. The research was conducted using a quasi-experimental method at the Dharma Acarya Faculty of IAHN-TP Palangka Raya to finding out how the effectiveness of the SCL learning approach on learning outcomes and critical thinking skills. The study sample was 36 students as a control group and 39 people as an experimental group. The results of thinking skills test and learning outcomes of students using the TCL and SCL learning approaches were analyzed by statistical paired sample t test, where the thinking skills test score TCL = 59.13 compared to SCL = 74.84. Learning outcomes score with TCL = 53.10 compared to SCL 61.38. So that SCL learning is more effective than TCL learning on thinking skills and student learning outcomes.

Abstrak: Pembelajaran merupakan aktivitas antara pendidik, peserta didik dan sumber belajar.
