This study is aimed at analyzing the influence of Profitability, Leverage, Growth, and, Free Cash Flow to the Company's Dividend Payout Ratio, by considering the Corporate Governance as an intervening variable. Subjects in this study were the companies ranked in the Corporate Governance Perception Index ranking (CGPI) conducted by the Indonesian Institute for Corporate Governance (IICG) in 2006-2011 which published their financial statements as of December 31. The samples were 81 companies selected using purposive sampling method. The analysis tools are simple regression and path analysis.The research found that only three hypotheses are accepted, while others are rejected. The research concludes that profitability has no positive influence on dividend payout ratio; leverage negatively affect the dividend payout ratio; growth negatively affect the dividend payout ratio; free cash flow positively effect on dividend payout ratio, no positive effect of profitability on the Corporate Governance, leverage positively influencesthe corporate governance; growth has no positive influence on corporate governance; free cash flow does not influence the Corporate Governance, Corporate Governance does not affect the dividend payout ratio, and the Corporate Governance is accepted to be added in the model as an intervening variable.
This study aims to formulate a learning communication model that is able to replace or modify the type of learning communication from the face-to-face system to blended learning during the Covid-19 pandemic and in the new normal period. This study focuses on learning communication in tertiary institutions on the grounds that students are expected to be independent in learning so that they no longer expect parental guidance in taking online classes, as happened at the primary and secondary education levels. With the consideration of the two things above, namely changes in learning communication with e-learning and the level of student independence, it is necessary to have a learning communication strategy in higher education to welcome the formation of a digital society. In this study, the tertiary institutions that were the object of research were three state universities in the North Aceh region and Lhokseumawe city, namely Malikussaleh University, Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic, and UIN Malikussaleh. The choice of the three universities refers to an effort to avoid long trips during the pandemic, because in addition to interviews using interactive virtual media remotely, in obtaining some information, direct observation must be used. The research was conducted using mixed approach -quantitative and qualitative-by involving respondents and informants from three main elements of the object of education, namely lecturers, students, and the community. In addition to interviews, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was also conducted using the zoom application, by presenting an expert resource person who is active in Online learning training, namely Prof. Ujang Sumarna from the Bogor Agricultural Institute. The outcome in this study is the existence of a learning communication strategy in tertiary institutions in a region with regional criteria that are relatively far from the nation's capital with relatively lacking information and communication technology facilities. The outcomes are a model of blended learning as an alternative and a model of e-learning Maturity Model (eMM) as a strategy to prepare all elements of colleges to face the changes in education in this disruptive era.
The purpose of this study is to describe verbal and nonverbal communication styles as well as obstacles in the communication process carried out by SPG. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are passive participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Informants were determined using a purposive technique. Data analysis was carried out through several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The results of this study indicate that the communication style used by SPGs is more dominated by nonverbal communication such as showing friendly facial expressions, eye contact with consumers, ideal body posture, matching clothes and make-up, managing physical closeness with consumers, and using time as good as possible. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah mendiskripsikan gaya komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal serta hambatan-hambatan dalam proses komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh seorang SPG. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi partisipan pasif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Cara penentuan informan menggunakan teknik purposive. Dalam menganalisis data peneliti melalui beberapa tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh para SPG lebih didominasi oleh komunikasi nonverbal seperti menunjukkan ekspresi wajah yang ramah, kontak mata dengan konsumen, postur tubuh yang ideal, pakaian dan riasan yang senada, mengatur kedekatan fisik dengan konsumen, dan penggunaan waktu sebaik mungkin.
The main objective of this community service is to strengthen media literacy for youth, adolescents and students. The existence of a media literacy for community subsequently gave birth to GAMPONG LITERACY for surrounding villages at The Malikussaleh Universitas campus, namely Blang Pulo village, Muara Satu sub-district, North Aceh district. This program was implemented through educational, socialization and interactive approaches using"learning by doing" method. This program is urgently carried out on the grounds that the behavior patterns of youth, adolescents and students in utilizing media (technology, content, form and function of media) lead to negative impacts, starting to deviate from the values of Islamic Sharia and Islamic law as well as customs and culture. This service was carried out in some steps started by the mapping of the conditions and situations of the impact of the media on youth. The finding was that most people in the community were still lack on the media and communication technology skills, which results in an increase in consumptive culture of the users. Less social media resulted in less educational and indulges consumptive appetite. The next step was the determination of a media literacy strategy using an "inocculation" approach to protect youth from the adverse effects of media. The final step was working together with stakeholders to form a Literacy Village community that would create a Literacy Village (Gampong Literacy), then urge the government to hold a Literacy Village competition for youth and students. The community received knowledge of media literacy, website design and e-commerce training.
Program Pengabdian ini merupakan serangkaian kegitan yang melibatkan Himpunan Mahasiswa Ilmu Komuniksi (Himako), Mahasiswa baru, alumni dan Dosen Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi melalui kegiatan pembersihan pantai Wisata Kreungekuh sebagai Gerakan bersama peduli lingkungan dalam rangka menjaga kelestarian alam. Mahasiswa Baru dengan pengenalan lingkungan baru namun tetap aware terhadap lingkungan hal ini sebagai upaya penyadaran terhadap penyelamatan bumi dari sampah. Salah satu yang paling sederhana dapat dilakukan adalah pembersihan pantai. Pantai wisata yang berada dekat dengan Pelabuhan Kreungeukueh merupakan tempat wisata ekonomis yang murah meriah namun belum dikelola secara profesional beberapa pondok wisata yang ada di bibir pantai masih terlihat membuang sampah sembarangan sehingga tanpak kotor disamping itu kurangya kesadaran pengunjung dalam membuang sampah pada tempatnya menambah permasalahan, sehingga dengan program pembersihan pantai ini diharapkan tumbuh kesadaran bagi Mahasiswa baru, alumni dan Dosen peduli lingkungan, lokasi wisata bebas sampah maka rencana tindak lanjut dilakukan adalah dengan penyediaan tong sampah, membuat plank peringatan dengan berbagai bentuk sebagai himbauan dilarang buang sampah sembarangan, pilah pilih sampah dan daur ulang sampah. agar pengembangan wisata pantai dapat berkenajutan bebas dari sampah.
