Worldwide, the cervical cancer considered the most frequent gynecological cancer among women. Effective primary and secondary prevention approaches will prevent most cervical cancer cases. Aim of the study: is to assess the level of women's knowledge and beliefs regarding cervical cancer prevention and to implement and examine the effectiveness of tele-nursing instructions on women based on Health Belief Model. Methods: A quasi-experimental design was used. This study was conducted at primary health care center and outpatient clinic at Shaqra city, KSA. A convenience sample of 75 women were enrolled in the study. Three tools were used to collect data, 1) structured interviewing questionnaire, 2) structured cervical cancer knowledge questionnaire & 3) Health Belief Model Scale Results: There was a statistically significant difference regarding level of knowledge after applying Tele-nursing based on Health Belief Model. In addition, there was a statistical difference regarding sub-scale of health belief model and increasing in mean percentage after intervention among study sample. Conclusion: Tele-nursing education through the application of the Health Belief Model proved massive changes in improving both the beliefs of the participating women, as well as the level of their knowledge about cervical cancer prevention. Recommendation: Enhancement of tele-nursing instruction use in many nursing practice settings and developing future research prevention programs that cover a large sample would be of a great importance in early detection and management.
Background: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation training is mandatory for nursing staff, whereas the ability to respond quickly and effectively to a cardiac arrest situation rests on nursing competence. Aim: to evaluate the effectiveness of structured cardiopulmonary resuscitation training program on nursing' competence. Subjects& Methods: A quasiexperimental design was used to fulfil the aim of the study. Subjects: A convenience sample of 60 critical care nurses who were recruited from critical care units. Study setting: This study was carried out at five critical care units affiliated to Minia University Hospitals, Egypt. Tools of data collection: were; First Tool: "Structured Questionnaire" it consists of (two parts): Part I: Nurses' personal data such as age, and gender; Part II: Nurses' knowledge assessment about resuscitation process and its role in resuscitation, Second Tool: Observational checklist for assessment nurses' performance of resuscitation. Results: There was a highly statistically significant difference in critical care nurses' knowledge and performance pre-and post-structured cardiopulmonary resuscitation training program. also, there was no statistically significant correlation between all personal characteristics for studied nurses and their total performance score pre-and post-structured cardiopulmonary resuscitation training program except in a studied sample's age categories. Conclusion: Improvement was obvious in the level of knowledge and performance of CPR of critical care nurses under study after attending structured cardiopulmonary resuscitation training program. Recommendation: Structured CPR training program should be available to train critical care nurses.
Background: Experiences in a personnel life are the most important source of self-esteem, emotional intelligence and conflict management development. The positive or negative life experiences one has, creates attitudes toward the self which can be constructive or can be unfavorable which in turn reflects on levels of self esteem, emotional intelligence and also conflict management. Aim: Study aimed to assess level of self esteem, emotional intelligence and conflict management of academic staff, faculty of Nursing, Mansoura university. Methods: Descriptive co relational design .Sample included all academic staff at faculty of Nursing, Mansoura university. Total number of academic staff were 118.There are three tools used in data collection. Self esteem questionnaire, Emotional intelligence questionnaire and Conflict management questionnaire Results: The most of the studied sample had moderately self esteem (70.3%) while the least had high self esteem(6.8%), (84.7%) of them had highly level of emotional intelligence and also, (76.3% ) had a highly level of conflict management Conclusion: There was no significant relationship between academic staff level of self esteem and conflict management but, there was a significant positive correlation between total scores of both emotional intelligence and conflict management Recommendation: Encourage open discussion and effective communication between academic staff and administrative authority so that all academic staff get the right information at the right time to manage misunderstanding and conflict.
Particularly in the current healthcare market, talent management is a comprehensive strategy and a source of competitive advantage. In order to increase organizational entrepreneurship and creativity and thereby create a highperformance, sustainable organization that achieves its strategic and operational objectives and goals, talent management is a crucial component of human resource management. It includes integrated practices for attracting, developing, motivating, and retaining productive, engaged nurses. Aim: To explore the influence of talent management on organizational entrepreneurship and nurses' creativity at Oncology Center Mansoura University (OCMU). Design: A descriptive correlational design was utilized. Subjects: All nurses working in Oncology Center Mansoura University (n=102). Tools: Three tools were used for data collection, namely; Talent Management Scale (TMS), Corporate Entrepreneurship Assessment Instrument (CEAI), and Employee Creativity Scale (ECS). Results: There was a statistically significant positive correlation between talent management practices (TMP) and organizational entrepreneurship. All dimensions of talent management had significant relationship with all dimensions of organizational entrepreneurship. Also, a statistically significant positive correlation was found between talent management practices and nurses' creativity. In addition to that, about half of the studied nurses had high creativity level. Conclusion: TMP have a significant influence on increasing organizational entrepreneurship and nurses' creativity. Recommendation: Hospital administrators should implement talent management practices including attracting, selecting, developing and retaining high-potential nurses. Creating a nurturing environment that fosters nurses' independence and willingness to take risks, which fosters entrepreneurship and nurses' creativity.
