The level of use of e-money services in Indonesia is still relatively low. Low in trust and high risk are thought to be determinants of the level of community behavioral intention. On the other hand, other factors of age, gender and level of education also affect the relationship of behavioral intention with the determinants. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the dimensions of trust (multi dimensional trust) and perceived risk on the intention of people's behavior on e-money services in Indonesia. Purposive sampling conducted on this study to the population of big city in Indonesia. Data collection was carried out with online Likert scale questionnaire, with instruments distributed in 5 big cities in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that the dimensions of trust (Multi Dimensional Trust) influence the intention of the community in adopting e-money services, while the perceived risk does not affect the intention of the community in adopting e-money services. Performance expectation variable (Performance Expectancy) is the biggest factor that influences people's intention to adopt e-money services. Education as a moderating variable is the only variable that has significant effect on the influence of determinant variables on behavioral intention.
The number of internet users increase in Indonesia. Seeing this potential, many banks in Indonesia were intensified to promote online banking services by using internet media called the Internet banking. This study uses a model of technology acceptance UTAUT and add Hofstede culture as moderator. The study was conducted by distributing questionnaires in Medan and Bandung with a number of 305 respondents who use internet banking. The sampling technique used in this study is convenience sampling. The results showed that: (1) Utility and Effort Expectancy are the most influence construct on behavioral intention of using internet banking (behavioral intention). (2) Culture Hofstede (Masculinity, Uncertainty Avoidance, Individualism and Power distance) has no effect as moderators. (3) Behavioral Intention to Use Behavior has the most significant effect in this study.
Perkembangan pesat teknologi saat ini berdampak pada seluruh aspek kehidupan, salah satunya pada sektor perbankan. Riset DBS Bank di Indonesia menunjukkan 41% frekuensi transaksi perbankan tahun 2018 adalah transaksi mobile banking. Kalimantan Timur sendiri sebagai salah satu provinsi dengan pendapatan perkapita dan pengeluaran konsumsi yang tinggi, penggunaan internet masih rendah, berdasarkan riset APJII 2018 tercatat berada di posisi kedua terendah dalam penggunaan internet.
Penelitian ini menggunakan model UTAUT modifikasi budaya berdasarkan teori culture dimension Hoftstede menggunakan metode quota sampling dengan jumlah 300 responden non-pengguna mobile banking. Teknik analisis data menggunakan SEM-PLS (Partial Least Square) dengan software WarpPLS 6.0
Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang paling mempengaruhi minat nasabah di provinsi Kalimantan Timur dalam mengadopsi layanan mobile banking secara berurutan adalah Effort expectancy, Performance expectancy, dan Social influence. Behavioral Intention berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Usage Behavior. Variabel moderator budaya Individualism/Collectivitism (IDV) memperkuat hubungan Behavioral Intention (BI) dan Usage Behavior (UB).
