To avoid students from the negative impact of food additives, the needed knowledge about the additives. Knowledge of these additives have an important role in shaping the attitude of the selection of snack food. This study aim to determine correlation between knowledge of additives and attitude about selection of snack food students at SMPN 74 Jakarta. The research was conducted at SMPN 74 Jakarta on April-May 2016. The method of this study was descriptive method with survey techniques through correlational studies. The sample of this study was 166 students. Prerequisite test results showed that the data was normally distributed and homogeneous. Regression model Ŷ= 127.35 + 2.23X that was significant and had a linear correlation. Based on hypothesis testing, the value of the correlation coefficient of 0.76 and a coefficient of determination of 58%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there was a positive correlation between knowledge about additives and attitude about selection of snack food students at SMPN 74 Jakarta and knowledge about additives contributed 58% to attitude about selection of snack food students at SMPN 74 Jakarta. Analytical thinking skills needed for students in solving problems encountered when learning topic are quite difficult and requires analysis of the issue. Learn to use Learning Start with a Question (LSQ) can help optimize student's analytical thinking skills. Learning Start with a Question (LSQ) involving active students to seek out and study topic that will be taught. Students learn to solve their own problems in groups and cooperate with each other. Nervous system topic requires analysis of the relationship between the constituent organ tissue structure and associate them with the mechanisms and function disorders that occur in the nervous system topic. This study aimed to determine about effect of Learning Start with a Question (LSQ) on student's analytical thinking in nervous system topic. The research was conducted in SMAN 33 Jakarta on March 2016. The reseach method used was a quasi experiment with Post Test Only Control Group Design. Subjects in this research were XI IPA 3 as experimental class and XI IPA 4 as control class. A total sample of 64 student was selected by simple random sampling technique. The instrumen used analytical thinking test was essay. Based the calculation, the average value of the test thinking analysis of the experimental class is 84 and the average value of the test thinking analysis of the control class is 82. Based on calculation, prerequisite test analysis data obtained was not normally distributes but homogeneous. The statistical hypothesis with Mann-Whitney test result on accepted null hypothesis at α 0,05. It showed that there was no about effect of Learning Start with a Question (LSQ) on student's analytical thinking in nervous system topic.
Adolescent is a transitional period from childhood to the adulthood in which the adolescents have a high curiosity to know and to understand the changings occurred to themselves. The adolescents need intense information on sexuality, additionally mother’s have on essential role to educate them. This research aimed to determine the relationship between mother’s knowledge on health reproductive and attitude in sexual education for adolescents. This research was conducted on Mey-June 2016. The method used was descriptive method with correlational study. The population was mothers who have adolescents aged 10-19 years. The sample was conducted by simple random sampling about 124 mothers. The prerequisite test showed that the data was normal and homogenous. The first hypothesis test was using linear regression and simple correlation. Regression model obtained wasŶ= 69,821+0,150X it was significant and linear relationship. The coefficient of correlation obtained was 0.174, which meaning that there was a positive-significant correlation between mother’s knowledge on health reproductive and attitude towards sex education. The coefficient of determination obtained was 0.03 which meaning that mother’s knowledge on health reproduction contributed about 3% to the attitude towards sex education.
