Menurut Undang-undang Nomor 24 Tahun 2007 bencana adalah peristiwa atau rangkaian peristiwa yang mengancam dan mengganggu kehidupan dan penghidupan masyarakat yang disebabkan, baik oleh faktor alam dan/atau faktor non alam maupun faktor manusia, sehingga mengakibatkan timbulnya korban jiwa manusia, kerusakan lingkungan, kerugian harta benda, dan dampak psikologis. Bencana kekeringan merupakan suatu kekurangan curah hujan dalam periode tertentu ( umumnya dalam satu musim atau lebih) yang menyebabkan kekurangan air untuk memenuhi kebutuhan (UN-ISDR. 2009). Salah satu di kabupaten magelang yang menjadi langganan kekurangan air adalah di kecamatan grabag. Diwilayah desa banaran, ketawang dan sugirmas merupakan desa terparah yang mengalami kekeringan di tahun 2019. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air di masyarakat di Kecamatan Grabag Kabupaten Magelang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Adactive Collaboration Management (ACM) dilakukan dengan pendekatan komunikasi masyarakat dalam menemukan dan mengenali permasalahannya, berusaha mempelajari permasalahan kemudian menentukan solusinya. Kegiatan tanggap darurat ini sebagai upaya dalam penanggulangan bencana di kekeringan di Kecamatan Grabag dengan melalukkan suplay air bersih dan pengadaan pipanisasi yang melibatkan warga masyarakat itu sendiri dan relawan di kabupaten Magelang
Purpose: to determine the effectiveness of using patterned spalk on the level of anxiety in children who have an IV in the children's ward at RSUD Muntilan. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental study using 2 groups of pres test and post test with a control group and an intervention group. Respondents in this study were 52 child respondents in the children's ward at RSUD Muntilan, by using purposive sampling technique. The measuring instrument used to measure the level of anxiety of children aged 1 to 6 years uses the SCAS (Spance Children's Anxiety Scale) and the observation sheet. Result: there is a significant effect on the level of anxiety of the child who is given. The act of using spalk is patterned in the intervention group with p value = 0.000 (p <0.05). There was a positive effect on the children who were attached with patterned spalks, the children looked happy and the anxiety decreased compared to the children who only wore plain spalk wrapped in gauze. So that the use of patterned spalk on children who have the IV line is proven to be effective in reducing anxiety levels.
Experiences or negative attitudes towards HIV, low knowledge and perception are also factor that can influence the emergence of stigma and discrimination. The primary objective of this study is to assessing the knowledge, attitude and perception among Faculty of Health Science students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang towards risk of HIV/AIDS. Methods: The data was collected by questionnaire from students in five department Faculty of Health Science. Samples of 165 students using the proportional method. Each respondent's scores were totalled and individual average scale scores were analysed using descriptive analysis. Result: 53.34% of Faculty of Health Sciences students have the level of knowledge towards risk of HIV and AIDS was moderate (range 51-74). 62.5% of students have a positive attitude (0.63) and 51.5% of students have a negative perception. There is significant correlation between knowledge and attitude. However, no significant correlation was found between knowledge and perception. Conclusions: Increase knowledge about HIV/AIDS through education and training since attending college, providing sufficient and up-to-date information about HIV/AIDS so as to be able to prepare health science faculty students to treat patients with HIV/AIDS and reduce negative stigma and discrimination.
