Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) sebagai pilar perekonomian dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi, menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan dan mengentaskan kemiskinan di Indonesia seringkali menghadapi kendala dalam pengembangannya untuk itu diperlukan adanya pengelolaan manajemen yang baik seperti penilaian kinerja untuk mengetahui kinerja UMKM sehingga dapat dilakukan tindakan perbaikan kinerja di masa yang akan datang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kinerja UMKM Kuliner yang ada di Kota Tomohon dengan menggunakan indikator kinerja yang mengacu pada setiap perspektif balanced scorecard. Terdapat sembilan indikator yang digunakan yaitu net proft margin, rasio efisiensi, kepuasan pelanggan, profitabilitas pelanggan, inovasi produk, manufacture cycle effectiveness, kepuasan pekerja, produktivitas pekerja, dan pelatihan pekerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja UMKM Kuliner di Kota Tomohon masih belum maksimal. Meskipun menunjukkan kinerja yang baik dari perspektif keuangan dan pelanggan, kinerja pada perspektif proses bisnis dan pembelajaran-pertumbuhan terutama pada indikator inovasi produk dan pelatihan pekerja masih kurang sehingga memerlukan adanya peningkatan dan perbaikan baik dari UMKM itu sendiri maupun pemerintah.
This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that influence the appropriate alternative strategies, and priority strategies for the development of micro businesses in the culinary tourism area. This research uses descriptive qualitative method by collecting data through interviews. Data were analyzed using three stages of strategy formulation: input stage, matching stage, and decision stage. This study found that the factors that influence the development of micro businesses in culinary tourism areas are varied products, low managerial ability of business owners, technological and information development, and changes in lifestyle and people’s interest in culinary products. Second, appropriate alternative strategies are to increase production capacity, maintain affordable product prices, provide adequate supporting facilities, take management training for business owners, conduct simple financial records, increase marketing through digital marketing, collaborate with suppliers of raw materials, and improve product quality and innovation. Third, a priority strategy in developing micro businesses in the culinary tourism area is to improve product quality and innovation.
Relokasi sebagai upaya penataan dan pengembangan usaha pedagang kaki lima sebagai salah satu sekor informal perlu dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan beberapa faktor agar dapat terlaksana dengan baik, salah satunya adalah lingkungan sosial pedagang itu sendiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak relokasi terhadap kondisi lingkungan sosial pedagang di Kawasan Wisata Kuliner Kota Tomohon. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dampak dari relokasi terhadap kondisi sosial pedagang secara keseluruhan mengalami peningkatan jika dibandingkan dengan keadaan pada lokasi sebelumnya dilihat dari beberapa aspek seperti kepastian dan jaminan hukum, keamanan dan ketertiban, kenyamanan dan kebersihan, persaingan antar pedagang, serta hubungan sosial antar pedagang. Meskipun demikian ada beberapa kendala yang dihadapi pedagang di lokasi relokasi terutama kurangnya perhatian pemerintah dalam proses peremajaan dan pengembangan lokasi yang berdampak pada semakin berkurangnya pedagang yang berjualan. Penelitian ini mengindikasikan pentingnya pengelolaan lokasi yang berkelanjutan untuk memberikan manfaat yang lebih besar sesuai fungsi dan peruntukannya.
SMEs have become the backbone of the national economy where MSMEs are a source of community income, helping to fulfill domestic goods and services and creating jobs. However, SMEs often experience obstacles in their development and even tend to have a high failure rate. There are many factors, both internal and external, that can hinder the growth of SMEs. This study aims to analyze the factors that hinder the growth of MSMEs to scale up in Tomohon City. The method used is descriptive quantitative with factor analysis techniques. The population in this study amounted to 3,906 MSMEs, while the number of samples was 100 SMEs which were calculated using the Slovin formula. As for the sampling technique using convenience sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires, with validity test result of Sig (2-tailed) < 0.05 and the reliability test result of Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.911 > 0.60. The results of this study indicate that there are 9 factors that can hinder the growth of SMEs in Tomohon City in the New Normal Era, which are human resource capabilities, infrastructure and technology, access to capital and market conditions, energy availability and wages, business location and political conditions, managerial capabilities, business processes and marketing, competition and production costs, production capacity and legality, and macro environment. The main factors hindering the growth of micro-businesses in Tomohon City during the new normal are the capabilities of human resources, infrastructure and technology with an explanatory variant of 29.927%.
