Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisis pengaruh model guided discovery learning berbantuan media simulasi PhET terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain the matching only post-test control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 22 Palembang yang terdiri dari 6 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, dan mengambil 2 kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes pemahaman konsep Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata pemahaman konsep kelas eksperimen = 85,00 dan kelas kontrol sebesar = 71,92. Hasil uji-t berpasangan diperoleh > yaitu 8,17 > 1,67; yang berarti ada pengaruh secara signifikan penerapan model guided discovery learning terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika siswa. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa model guided discovery learning berbantuan media simulasi PhET secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika siswa dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of guided discovery learning models assisted by media PhET simulation of the understanding of students' physics concepts. The research method used was quasi-experimental with the matching only post-test control group design. The population in this study was all students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 22 Palembang consisting of 6 classes. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique and took two classes as the experimental class and the control class. Data collection using concept understanding test instruments. The results showed that the mean understanding of the experimental class concept = 85.00 and the control class = 71.92. The results of the t-test are obtained t_count> t_table that is 8,17> 1,67; which means that there is a significant effect of the application of the guided discovery learning model to the understanding of students' physics concepts. It was concluded that the guided discovery learning model assisted by PhET simulation media significantly influenced the understanding of students' physics concepts compared to conventional learning.
This study aimed to describe the characters' cultural meaning and educational values in the poem Ikan Terubuk. It explains that people's moral education results from the refinement of the values instilled since ancient times. Besides, it could also be useful for developing regional literature and enriching teaching materials for teachers of Indonesian language and literature and the learning of local culture, especially in the Riau. Thus, the poem Ikan Terubuk can be known and understood by the next generation so that local wisdom characteristics remain preserved and well maintained by the community. This type of research was qualitative with descriptive methods. The data collection technique used was the note-taking technique. The subject of this research was the poem Ikan Terubuk. This research aimed to focus on stylistic elements, cultural meanings, and educational values of character in the poem Ikan Terubuk. Data analysis through steps: data reduction, data presentation, and inference. The reliability of intra-rater and inter-rater obtained the validity of data. After clarifying the 10 data, it is reflected in the poetry of Ikan Terubuk, which is still developing contextually and has shifted functionally as a magical power in a ritual ceremony in Riau. The religious, nationalist, independent, cooperative, and integrity values showed moral education in this poem. The Islamic values became the dominant value in the poem Ikan Terubuk because it has relevance to the ethnic Malay majority Bengkalis as a devout Muslim.
The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of self-instruction techniques to improve student's oral communication skills in the learning process. This study was an experimental study using a single case experimental with A-B designs. The subject was three students from tenth grade senior high school which had a problem with their oral communication during the learning process. Oral communication skills data were collected using Oral Communication Skills Observational Instruments. Data analysis techniques used were statistical analysis with percentage technique, and split-middle technique also clinical analysis technique which declared by significant other. The results show that after carrying out the self-instruction, subject's oral communicating skills in the classroom learning process increases. Subjek penelitian yaitu tiga orang siswa kelas sepuluh yang memiliki keterampilan komunikasi lisan rendah dalam proses pembelajaran. Begitu pula dengan siswa, yang juga berkomunikasi hampir dalam semua aktivitasnya. Siswa perlu memiliki keterampilan komunikasi lisan dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas untuk mengekspresikan pemikiran atau gagasan mereka secara lisan langsung kepada siswa lain atau gurunya. Komunikasi antara guru dan siswa di dalam kelas merupakan komunikasi interpersonal yang bisa saja terjadi satu arah atau dua arah, bergantung pada respon siswa (Miftah, 2009). Jika siswa bersikap pasif, tanpa ada ekspresi pernyataan atau pertanyaan, maka proses komunikasinya hanya berlangsung satu arah dan implikasinya pembelajaran tersebut tidak efektif. Hal tersebut dapat diartikan bahwa dalam proses pendidikan di sekolah yang berlangsung di dalam kelas proses komunikasi antara guru dengan siswa dinilai tidak efektif apabila siswa hanya mendengarkan pernyataan guru tanpa mengekspresikan pendapatnya dalam bentuk pertanyaan atau diskusi.
This study aims to determine the difference in academic stress levels of male and female students during distance learning. This research is descriptive comparative research. The subjects in this study were students of class XI at SMA Negeri in Surakarta. The research data were analyzed using the Independent Sample Test to determine whether there were differences in the academic stress levels of male and female students during distance learning. Based on the analysis results, male students had an average of 43.74, and female students experienced academic stress with an average of 47.27. The results of the Independent Sample Test show the value of Sig. 0.009 (0.009 <0.05), so this result indicated differences in the level of academic stress experienced by male and female students during distance learning.
