The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of lavender aromatherapy on pain control first stage of labor on maternal. This research was conducted in Jumo primary health centers Temanggung. This study uses a quasiexperimental design One group pretest-posttest design. The study population was all women giving birth in Jumo primary health centers Temanggung using a sampling technique total sampling obtained a total of 33 maternal. The results showed that there is the effect of lavender aromatherapy on pain control first stage of labor on maternal p value of 0.001. From the results of the study are expected in particular health care services for women giving birth in order to provide a service that not only focused on physical problems, but also solves the problem of psychology is to optimize the role of health workers, particularly midwives in intervention, not only collaborative action alone.
Stimulasi dini perlu diberikan kepada anak sebagai generasi penerus bangsa. Keterlambatan perkembangan awal dapat mempengaruhi kehidupan anak di masa depan, sehingga diperlukan alat permainan edukatif berupa flashcard dalam menstimulasi perkembangan bahasa anak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektifitas media gambar flashcard dalam perkembangan bahasa anak usia 3-4 tahun. Metode penelitian ini kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan rancangan one group pre test post test design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sejumlah anak usia 3-4 tahun di 8 kelompok bermain Magelang utara. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dan proportionate random sampling. Intervensi dilakukan selama 4 kali pertemuan selama 40 menit. Uji statistik dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media gambar flashcard efektif menstimulasi sebesar 6 kali lipat. Penggunaan media flashcard dapat membantu penyampaian informasi sehingga mempermudah penerimaan pesan dalam hal berkomunikasi lisan, pemahaman huruf vokal dan angka 1-10. Stimulasi dini sangat penting sehingga diharapkan orang tua dan guru untuk sering melakukan stimulasi setiap saat. Diperlukan pengenalan huruf vokal maupun konsonan, agar perkembangan bahasa lebih optimal.
Background : Studies back pain due to pregnancy 25-90%, was estimated 50% of pregnant women experience back pain. As many as 80% of pregnant women said that back pain during pregnancy interfere with daily routines and 10% unable to work. The Alexander Technique exercises 65-72% effective in reducing back pain. Learning the Alexander technique have an impact on long-term reductions significantly to lower back pain. Research to determine the effectiveness of the Alexander Technique to the level of lower back pain in the third trimester pregnant mothers.Method : pre-experimental research with one group pretest posttest design. Population this study the third trimester pregnant women who experience lower back pain amounting to 31 people in Selopampang public health center Temanggung district. Collecting data used a pain scale observation sheet NRS (Numerical Rating Scale). Analyze data used Wilcoxon test.Result : research showed the Z value of -3.859. It showed that the Alexander technique is effective in reducing low back pain that is felt as much as 3x with Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000, which means there is a difference low back pain before and after alexander technique intervention.Conclusion : the Alexander Technique could be an alternative to reduce lower back pain in 3rd trimester of pregnancy

Early mobilization resulting in blood circulation and oxygenation of scar tissue becomes better, which stimulates the release of hormones endorphins are helpful to reduce pain. It is expected that health staff nurse midwife or family able to guide and accompany postpartum mothers in particular who had stitches due perineal laceration to perform early mobilization since 2 hours postpartum by moving the arms, legs, move circle ankle, heel lifts, make rilek shank, bend and shifting feet, followed by the right and left oblique, and learn to sit , next learn to walk.
Menstrual pain is a problem that is quite disturbing activity and causes a bad mood so that women do not like menstrual pain. Primary dysmenorrhea is menstrual pain that is not associated with pathological abnormalities. Menstrual pain experienced by many young women is estimated at 40% to 50%. Many things are done to reduce pain such as the use of drugs or other ways such as the use of herbs, drinking juice, distraction, relaxation, massage or pressing the stomach, the use of aromatherapy, compresses, exercise and rest and sleep. Based on research conducted at Secang 3 Public Middle School, Magelang Regency shows that most teenagers who experience menstrual pain experienced mild pain 59 respondents (60.2%), moderate pain 30 respondents (30.6%) and severe pain 9 respondents (9.2%). Most of the students liked non-pharmacological therapy 96 respondents (94.1%) and 2 respondents (1.96%) chose pharmacological therapy which is antipain medication. The type of non-pharmacological therapy that has been chosen to reduce menstrual pain is depressing the stomach with the fetal position of 67 respondents (68.4%), resting or sleeping 62 respondents (63.3%). Most of the teenage girls during menstruation choose to press the stomach and sleep rest because it is easy to do, inexpensive and there are no side effects to the body. It is advisable to do activities to flex the uterine muscles as they approach menstrual days to reduce menstrual pain and medical examinations for those who experience severe pain.
