Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh data dilapangan bahwa bahan ajar biologi berbasis kinerja siswa pada materi protista belum pernah dikembangkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis kinerja terhadap siswa kelas X SMA Karya Sekadau. Model yang peneliti gunakan adalah model pengembangan 4-D. Model pengembangan 4-D terdiri atas 4 tahap utama yaitu Define, Design, Develop dan Disseminate.Subyek ujicoba lapangan yaitu siswa kelas X sebanyak 30 siswa SMA Karya Sekadau. Persentase hasil validasi modul oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru bidang studi sebesar 86,6% sehingga modul memiliki kualifikasi sangat layak. Modul diuji coba terhadap siswa SMA Karya Sekadau kelas XI IIS 1 pada tahap initial development testing. Persentase penilaian modul oleh siswa kelas XI sebesar 88,43 %. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kualifikasi modul yang sangat layak.Efektifitas dari modul ini dilihat dari nilai gain score 0,54 dengan kriteria sedang, sehingga dapat dinyatakan efektif. Respon siswa dari modul dengan pengambilan uji skala kecil sebesar 88,43% dengan respon sangat baik.Kata kunci: Bahan ajar, kinerja siswa, protista, pengembangan ABSTRACT Keywords: Teaching materials, student perfomance, protist, development Development of biology teaching materials based performance on protist material. This research was motivated by data in the field that biology teaching materials based on student performance on protist material have never been developed. The purpose of this study was to develop teaching materials based on class X students of Karya Sekadau High School. The model used by researchers is a 4-D development model. The 4-D development model consists of 4 main levels: Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The field trial subjects were 30 class X students of Karya Sekadau High School students. The percentage of module validation results by material experts, media experts, and subject matter teachers amounted to 86.6% so that the module has very decent qualifications. A trial award module for high school students of Karya Sekadau class XI IIS 1 at the initial development test. The percentage of module scores by class XI students was 88.43%. These results indicate that the modules developed are included in the very feasible module qualifications. The effectiveness of this module is seen from the 0.54 gain score with moderate criteria, so it can be approved effectively.
