One of the sectors affected by the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic is small business. Its existence, which is essential in supporting the regional economy, is getting worse and requires more efforts to be able to survive during this pandemic. From the demand side, mainly consumption and purchasing power, its performance has decreased, thus disrupting the production process and business success. The role of entrepreneurs is needed to be able to achieve business success. This study aims to examine the role of business ability as a mediating variable on the effect of entrepreneur characteristics on business success. The population of this study is small snack entrepreneurs in Purworejo Regency. Sampling using purposive sampling technique with a total of 100 respondents. This study used a survey method to collect data with the help of a questionnaire. Furthermore, the data is processed using the Hierarchical Regression Analysis method. The results of the study show that the characteristics of entrepreneurs and business abilities partially influence business success. Characteristics of entrepreneurs affect business ability, and business abilities can mediate the influence of entrepreneurial characteristics on business success. The real contribution of the results of this study is expected for snack food entrepreneurs in Purworejo Regency during this pandemic to be able to achieve business success, especially about the characteristics and abilities that small entrepreneurs must possess to survive in a pandemic situation like this.
This study aims to examine the role of investor sentiment on the relationship between corporate social responsibility and corporate value. Based on the previous literature, CSR which is a positive signal revealed by the company will influence investor sentiment. Investors can make decisions to make investments based on signals from the company. So that it can increase the value of the company. The better the company signal, the more confident investors will be in making investment decisions, which will then have an impact on the company's higher value. The sample used in this study is the green company that is listed on the IDX as many as 12 companies. By using a regression panel data analysis, the result is CSR disclosures can increase the value of the company through the mediating role of investor sentiment.
Kegiatan Pengabdian “Abdimas Series 2” ini dilakukan oleh TIM Fakultas Ekonomi untuk memenuhi permintaan HIPMI Kabupaten Purworejo dalam rangka memberikan pendidikan dan pelatihan pada anggotanya pemulanya, agar memiliki pengetahuan dan menambah wawasan dalam berwirausaha. Pengabdian dilakukan dalam kegiatan webinar, materi yang disampaiakan meliputi etika berbisnis online, Branding dan Positioning serta pemanfaatan Teknologi informasi dalam Bisnis. Karena keadaan masih Pandemi maka kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan secara daring dengan media zoom meeting dalam kegiatan webinar series. Kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar sesuai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan.
Kondisi perekonomian yang kian tidak menentu berdampak pada ketersediaan lapangan pekerjaan baik sector formal ataupun informal semakin berkurang disisi lain angkatan kerja semakin pesat pula pertumbuhannya hal ini menuntut dibukanya lebih luas lagi lapangan pekerjaan yang ada secara mandiri dalam bentuk kegiatan wirausaha. Generasi muda diantaranya mahasiswa memiliki beban untuk merencanakan berwirausaha sejak dini. Minat berwirausaha harus ditumbuh kembangkan sejak dini agar kedepan lebih siap membuka suatu usaha baru. Banyak hal yang bisa menjadi pengaruh menumbuhkan minat berwirausaha pada diri mahasiswa diantaranya sikap dan efikasi diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat pengaruh efikasi diri dan sikap terhadap intensi berwirausaha pada mahasiswa Program studi Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester V tahun akademik 2020/2021 yang telah menempuh matakuliah Entrepreneurship and Business Planning sebanyak 169 orang, jumlah sampel yang diambil yaitu 120 responden berdasarkan rumus slovin.. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan tekhnik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan alternatif pilihan jawaban menggunakan skala Likert yang terdiri dari lima pilihan jawaban. Kuesioner telah diuji cobakan dan telah memenuhi syarat validitas dan reliabilitas. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan regresi linier berganda menggunakan program SPSS 25.0. Berdasarkan hasil analisis disimpulkan Efikasi diri secara parsial berpengaruh positif terhadap intensitas berwirausaha meskipun tidak signifikan begitu juga Sikap secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Intensi Berwirausaha.
