The diversity and the abudance of the mangrove crab (Scylla spp.) has been carried out in mangrove forests Block Bedul Alas Purwo National Park. Sampling was carried out in 8 different station sites during day and night by using descriptive quantitative methods. The resuls showed that the diversity and the abudance of scylla were low (H '= 0.315; N= 0.0011 individuals / m².) The researd station which were located at the high topografi has contributed to the low level of diversity and abudance value of the Scylla spp. Abiotic factor such as, temperature, pH, salinity, substrat type, and the tide have not significant effect to the diversity and abudance of Scylla spp.(p> 0.05).
Elaborating Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics in learning activities is now getting important, especially to improve the STEM literacy of the students of school age or higher. For the higher age students, elaborating the STEM education should encourage them to raise their higher-order thinking skills. Thus the implementation of research-based learning together with a STEM education will be a good model in designing learning activities. Meanwhile, in STEM education, integrating some social real-life problems becomes the main issue. In this study, we will focus on the preservation process of food or meat. The biggest problem, in this case, some preservatives, however, contain harmful substances, like formalin and borax. Under STEM education, we will guide students in research-based learning activities to use chitosan made from shrimp skin to be a natural preservative substance. The objective of this study is to design the research-based learning activities under the STEM approach on the use of chitosan preservatives for processed meat.
Sekolah Penggerak merupakan sekolah yang berfokus pada pengembangan hasil belajar siswa secara holistik dengan mewujudkan Profil Pelajar Pancasila yang mencakup kompetensi serta kepribadian yang dimulai dengan SDM yang unggul (kepala sekolah dan guru). Peluncuran Kurikulum Merdeka adalah salah satu dari sekian banyak upaya Kemendikbudristek dalam menyikapi terbentuknya krisis pendidikan di Indonesia yang belum membaik dari tahun ke tahun. Riset PISA menampilkan banyak peserta didik yang tidak sanggup untuk menguasai teks simpel ataupun mempraktikkan konsep matematika dasar. Sepanjang 10 hingga 15 tahun terakhir kurang lebih 70% siswa umur 15 tahun terletak di dasar kompetensi minimum dalam literasi serta numerasi. Program Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dirancang untuk menunjang peluncuran kurikulum merdeka melalui aktivitas sosialisasi serta tutorial teknis untuk pemangku kepentingan seperti Dinas Pendididikan, Penilik, Pengawas, UPT Pusat, Organisasi Mitra yang bertugas mendampingi satuan PAUD di wilayahnya masing-masing. Penelitian ini bertujuan utuk menganalisis apakah guru-guru PAUD sudah mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka tersebut dengan baik sesuai dengan harapan dari pemerintah. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagain besar guru telah mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka di Fase Fondasi (PAUD) dengan baik.
The objective of the study was to find out the content of macro and micro nutrient in kelor leaves biscuits flour and snakehead fish. The study was an experimental study which was conducted at the laboratory. The instruments used were blender, filter, oven, chopping block, knife, basin, panic, gloves, stove, baking pan, flat basket, mixer, small plate, weighing scale, and triangle plastic. The result of the study indicated that out of 6 formula from the product which has the highest value, such as based on organoleptic test, with hedonic test method, was formula B5. Then the macro and micro nutrient of the formula was analyzed. The result of the analysis showed the water content was 5,04 % in the biscuits. The ashes content was 1,60%. The fat content was 31,67%. The protein was 19,24%. The carbohydrate was 42,74%. The analysis result on the micro nutrient showed the. Magnesium was 12,69%, Calsium 96,06 %, Zn 0,04%, Vitamin C 69,99%, Vitamin A 259,4%, Fosfor 19,92%. In conclusion, kelor leaves biscuits flour and snakehead fish, which was produced, contain some nutrients which meet the SNI requirements of biscuits production. Meatball is one of the most favorite processed food in Indonesia it has delicious taste, tasty gravy, and affordable price. It is also easy to find a meatball stall in Indonesia, including Jember. Preservatives are usually used to maintain the condition of a meatball. Some preservatives, however, contain harmful substances, like formalin and borax. Both formalin and borax are not allowable for consumption since it may harm human’s health. The present study aimed to investigate a main ingredients for natural food preservative, to be further recommended as a preservative for meatball. The food preservative to be investigated in this study is chitosan made from shrimps shell wastes. To answer the research objective, a method used was an experiment of making chitosan solution. The concentration of chitosan created in the study is 1,5%. To test preservative efficacy of using chitosan, three treatments were given, (1) meatballs are coated with 1,5% of chitosan; (2) meatballs are mixed with 1,5% chitosan solution; and (3) meatballs without chitosan. These three treatments were observed and tested using organoleptic testing based on the length of storage, on day 1, 2, 3, and 4 in a room with a certain temperature. The parameters used for testing the preservatives included taste, color, odor, and texture. The study indicated that the 1,5% of chitosan solution was found effective for preserving meatballs naturally when used as coating.
