This study is an effort to explore more concrete and holistic understanding related to existence and woman role in Batak society. In reality, Batak have several terms which refer to the strong existence of woman in Batak society. However, since the lineage is drawn from the male line as the case in patriarchal culture, the strategic roles of women themselves often become neglected. This study conducted a constructive critical study to position women's leadership in the context of Batak community. It began by describing the real conditions of women in the context of Batak community. Furthermore, constructive critical study was carried out by looking at religious literature as well as myth. The use of myths as study material is usually done in the study of the Sciences of Religions, because people believe that myths contain teachings about the moral of a society, which are accepted and lived as a teaching in daily life. Through that, things can also be found to be learning for the future. The study of the Sciences of Religions also uses the the Sociology of Religion to discuss humanity and religion itself. Theological reflection on certain texts in the Bible is carried out with a new perspective.This way is done to rise up the strength of woman. Of course, this study have already finished by a deep and long study, so what is presented here is the result of the researcher recommends only.

The Understanding of  Together Christian Faith was the second document of the four of church unity document (DKG), was published by the resource department of Indonesia Church Communion. This document has seven chapters, the first chapter is talking about God, and the last chapter is talking about the Holy Bible. Since this document was published as a document of together in Indonesia in 1984 at Ambon, for churches have good awareness to get a theology for together in understanding. Nowadays, Indonesia has many problems about how to manage many persons with much different religion. For goal by doing a constructive analysis in Lutheran perspective for this document is very important to prepare this document to be relevant in many situations especially in multicultural, ethnic and religious context in Indonesia.AbstrakPemahaman Bersama Iman Kristen (PBIK) adalah dokumen kedua dari  empat bagian  Dokumen Keesaan Gereja (DKG), yang diterbitkan oleh Litbang Persekutuan Gereja-gereja di Indonesia. Dokumen ini terdiri dari 7 bab. Bab I, memuat  tentang Allah, dan bab terakhir yakni bab 7, memuat tentang Alkitab. Sejak ditetapkan sebagai Pengakuan Iman Bersama di Indonesia tahun 1984 di Ambon, bagi gereja-gereja makin tumbuh kesadaran akan pentingnya satu teologi yang dapat dipahami bersama sehingga aksi oikumenis dapat dilakukan dalam kehidupan beragama di Indonesia. Telaah kritis konstruktif dari perspektif Lutheran  atas dokumen ini dilakukan terutama untuk mempersiapkan agar dokumen ini tetap relevan menghadapi berbagai persoalan sosial dan kecenderungan di tengah-tengah masyarakat yang multikultural dalam konteks Indonesia.

Tulisan ini berupaya menggali pengaruh kedai tuak terhadap kehadiran kaum bapak di dalam gereja,  adakah faktor-faktor yang ada itu saling terkait atau tidak. Dimulai dengan pemahaman jemaat tentang realitas konkrit atas kehidupan bergereja dan  bagaimana penyelenggara gereja menyikapinya dan terbuka  melakukan evaluasi dan refleksi atas kehidupan bergereja, kemudian   membangun cara-cara yang persuasif untuk merangkul kaum bapak, bukan malah memberi stigma negatif.  Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan pendekatan Sosiologi Agama dan diharapkan transformasi   perubahan  metode penginjilan dapat dicapai.

Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan kajian dari perspektif teologi Kristen terhadap konsep budaya Batak tentang otoritas perempuan sebagai Ibu dalam pembentukan karakter unggul dalam keluarga Batak. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di Pematangsiantar pada bulan Nopember-Desember 2022 dengan empat orang informan. Dua di antaranya adalah tokoh perempuan Batak di lingkungan gereja dan sekolah teologi, dua lainnya adalah pemuda dari keluarga Batak. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan adanya tiga peran ibu yang memiliki otoritas dalam pembentukan karakter unggul pada anak. Ketiga peran tersebut adalah sipartangiang (pendoa), mendidik anak-anak untuk rajin berdoa, parsonduk bolon (menyiapkan kebutuhan makanan), mendidik anak-anak untuk memikul tanggung jawab terhadap kehidupan bersama, Ina Soripada (Ibu yang terhormat), mendidik anak-anak untuk sopan, jujur, dan berintegritas. Melalui ketiga peran ini, nampak bahwa ibu Batak memiliki otoritas untuk menjalankan pendidikan karakter unggul bagi anak-anak. Terbukti bahwa anak-anak yang berasal dari keluarga dengan ibu yang demikian memiliki karakter unggul yang berbeda-beda dari teman-teman sebayanya.

This article tries to describe and critize the understanding of religion relate to motivation and attitude. Usually, everybody knows his or her religion by doctrine, ritual, church order, ideology. This research aims to know how the followers especially men as a father in District V of the HKBP, North Sumatera, Indonesia, think about religion like as ritual as a part of religion. And how the ritual influence and help him to grow up in good motivation and attitude. Also, are there some factors of attitude of the leaders of religion contribute to motivate the followers to grow up their beliefe.
