The objectives of the study were to develop the nutrition pocketbook regarding dietary guidelines for adolescents and do the pilot test of the nutrition pocketbook to analyze the nutritional behavior of junior high school students. The research was conducted from March to August 2016 at Three Junior High School (SMP) in Medan city. Fourteen nutritional messages would be designed into the nutrition pocketbook. They were 1) Eat a variety of foods; 2) Consume high fiber foods that eat plenty of vegetables and fruits; 3) Eat breakfast every day; 4) Increase knowledge about nutrition and reproduction health relationship; 5) Consume iron-rich foods; 6) Consume calcium-rich foods; 7) Eat a variety of staple foods; 8) Limit consumption of sweet, salty and fatty foods; 9) Limit consumption of fast foods; 10) Read the labels of packaged foods; 11) Consume safe foods; 12) Do physical activity regularly and maintain a normal weight; 13) No smoking, alcoholic beverages, and drugs; 14) Drink 8 glasses of water a day. The nutrition pocketbook has been designed according to the adolescent needs and validated by nutrition, educational and media experts. Pilot test showed that nutrition pocketbook could increase nutritional behavior of samples.
ABSTRAKPemenuhan kebutuhan gizi berbasis pangan lokal merupakan implementasi dari panduan Pedoman Gizi Seimbang (PGS). Pemberian pengetahuan berkaitan dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi pada guru dapat memberikan manfaat bagi lingkungan sekitar, terutama pada siswa di Sekolah. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan guru tentang pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi berbasis pangan lokal. Kegiatan pengabdian berupa pendidikan gizi dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi kepada 15 orang guru MTs Al Washliyah 19 Percut. Adapun rincian kegiatannya adalah pembukaan, pre-test, penyampaian materi dan tanya jawab, post-test serta penutupan. Data pre-posttest dianalisis secara deskriptif dan uji beda paired t-test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan guru terkait pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi berbasis pangan lokal meningkat signifikan (p<0,05). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendidikan gizi efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi guru MTs Al Washliyah 19 mengenai pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi berbasis pangan lokal. Efforts to increase teachers' knowledge about it can benefit their environment, especially for students. This community service activity aimed to increase MTs Al Washliyah 19 Percut teachers' knowledge about fulfilling local food-based nutritional requirements. The nutrition education for 15 teachers used the discussion method. The activities consist of opening, pre-test, material presentation and discussion, post-test, and closing session. The pre-posttest data were analyzed using the descriptive method and paired sample t-test. The results showed that teachers' knowledge regarding the fulfillment of local food-based nutritional requirements increased significantly (p<0.05). Nutrition education effectively increases the knowledge of MTs Al Washliyah 19 teachers regarding the fulfillment of local food-based nutritional requirements. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui dari media social berbasis video ke toko virtual yang menciptakan budaya konsumen melalui media sosial TikTok Shop pada mahasiswi milenial Bangka Belitung. Penelitian ini menarik karena perkembangan fitur dalam aplikasi Tiktok yaitu Tiktok Shop dapat mengkonstruksi perilaku konsumtif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara tidak terstruktur dengan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) pola konsumsi di media sosial TikTok Shop berupa intensitas dalam menonton live streaming dan mennton video singkat review produk dari pembeli, (2) beranggapan belanja online efektif dan efesien, (3) lebih percaya akan keaslian barang, karena media promosi seakan-akan melihat barang secara langsung. Pola konsumsi tersebut menimbulkan adanya budaya konsumen melalui media sosial TikTok Shop. Faktor pendorong generasi milenial membentuk budaya konsumen ada 3 yaitu: (1) Gaya hidup, (2) Industri Massa, dan (3) Makna simbolik terhadap barang. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut diharapkan agar masyarakat tidak terjebak dalam kesadaran palsu dan tidak mudah terbujuk oleh rayuan iklan. Kapitalis berhasil menjalankan peran dalam memberi kerancuan antara keinginan dan kebutuhan dan menciptakan perilaku konsumtif.
