Schizophrenia is a mental disorder that requires treatment for a long time. This disease is easy to recur when the individual is under psychological pressure. This condition makes the family as the patient's closest party required to always accompany and assist him in carrying out activities. This situation makes the family feel that they are not free to work so that it makes them feel physically, psychologically and socially depressed as a result, the quality of family life decreases. The purpose of this study was to analyze Self Help Group (SHG) in improving the quality of family life caring for schizophrenia patients. This study used a quasy experimental design with a pre-post test with control group design. The study population was 40 respondents. The sampling technique used purposive sampling which a research sample of 36 respondents divided into 18 respondents in each control and treatment group. The results of this study showed that the average score of family quality of life in caring for schizophrenia patients in the control group before the health education intervention was 88.5 and after intervention was 92.78, while before the intervention in the treatment group was 87.28 and after it was 111.06. The result have significant ρ-value of 0,000 was also obtained, which means that there are differences in the quality of family life in caring for schizophrenic patients after being given intervention in the control and treatment groups. So it can be concluded that SHG is one of therapy applied as an intervention for families in order to improve their quality of life while caring for schizophrenia patients. Abstrak: Bullying menjadi salah satu bentuk perilaku kekerasan yang sering dialami remaja. Bullying berupa perilaku intimidasi dalam bentuk perkataan verbal, fisik, psikologis dan sosial. Tindakan bullying dapat menyebabkan penurunan kepercayaan diri pada korbannya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri santri korban bullying dipesantren. Pertama, tim melakukan skrining victim bullying kepada seluruh santri. Selanjutnya, menilai kepercayaan diri korban bullying sebelum peer group kemudian diberikan intervensi peer group. Terakhir, menilai kembali kepercayaan diri korban bullying setelah peer group. Mitra kegiatan adalah Pondok Hafshawaty Pesantren Zainul Hasan sejumlah 55 santri. Hasil kegiatan didapatkan skor rata-rata kepercayan diri korban bullying sebelum dan setelah peer group mengalami peningkatan skor 6,86 dengan nilai ρ value sebesar 0,000 sehingga menunjukkan adanya pengaruh peer group terhadap kepercayaan diri santri korban bullying. Selain itu, hasil observasi menunjukkan santri mengikuti kegiatan dengan aktif dan menyimak dengan seksama. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadikan santri sebagai role model bagi para korban bullying di lingkungan pesantren.Abstract: Bullying is a form of violent behavior that is often experienced at a adolescent. Bullying can be in the form of intimidating behavior in the form of verbal, physical, psychological and social words. Bullying can cause a decrease self confidence for the victims. This activity aims to increase the confidence of victims bullying in Islamic boarding schools. First, the team screened victims of bullying for all students. Furthermore, assessing the self confidence of victims of bullying before the peer group is then given peer group intervention. Lastly, reassess the self onfidence of the victims of bullying after the peer group. The partner of this activity is Pondok Hafshawaty Zainul Hasan Islamic Boarding School with a total of 55 students. The results of this activity showed an increase in the average score of the self confidence of students who were victims of bullying before and after the peer group experienced an increase in the score of 6.86 with a value of 0.000, indicating that there was an influence of peer groups on the self-confidence of students who were victims of bullying. In addition, the results of observations showed that students participated in activities actively and listened carefully. This activity is expected to make students as role models for victims of bullying in the pesantren environment.
: Bullying is common especially when entering adolescence. However, if bullying is done continuously causes the negative impact such as anxiety, shame, low confidence, and anxiety. Those impacts encourage them to isolate themselves from the social environment. An effort that can be done to handle the situation is to provide Social Skill Training. This therapy teaches social skills through basic communication techniques, verbal and non-verbal, to express their thoughts and feelings well. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effectivity of SST on the decrease of social isolation behavior among teenagers who become the victims of bullying. This research uses quasy experimental with pre post-test design. The technique to determine the sample is using purposive sampling in the class X students who experienced social isolation behavior due to bullying. The total sample used was 18 respondents. According to univariate test, the result got that social isolation behavior score before given SST equal to 79,11 while after given SST equal to 58,83. Whereas, paired t-test showed that there were differences of social isolation behavior score before and after given SST intervention which had significant value equal to ρ = 0,000. This research hopes that there will be interventions given to families, schools and peers through supportive therapy in order to provide support to the bullying teens.Keywords : SST, social isolation behavior, bullying Abstrak : Bullying saat ini marak terjadi terutama saat memasuki usia remaja. Elderly can cause a person to experience a decrease in physical strength, speed and skills that resulting in a decline of health functions in term of physically, psychologically and socially. This condition causes the elderly to be hampered in carrying out daily activities. As a result, the elderly feel inferior, easily offended, feel useless, unhappy, lose their roles, and are worthless. Efforts to overcome this problem are by forming a mental health cadre so that they can invite the elderly to conduct health check up at the posyandu. This study aims to analyze the effect of soul cadre training toward the number of elderly visits. This study was used experimental quasy design with one group pre-post test design. This research was carried out in Karangbong Village, Pajarakan District, Probolinggo District. The population and sample of this study were all mental health cadres that is 25 cadre using total sampling. The research instrument was used observation sheets by assessing the number of elderly visits. This study uses data analysis paired t-test. This study shows that there is significant effect of soul cadre training on the number of elderly visits in Karangbong Village, Pajarakan with ρ value of 0,001. Suggestions from this study are that intervention is needed for the elderly such as supportive therapy in order to provide support and motivation to the elderly so that it can improve the quality of life's welfare physically and psychologically.
