Pekerja migran Indonesia diketahui telah menyumbang devisa kepada negara dalam jumlah yang besar karena Indonesia aktif mengirimkan pekerja migran Indonesia termasuk tenaga kerja wanita ke berbagai negara di dunia termasuk Malaysia, Hongkong, Taiwan dan Arab Saudi. Biaya yang terjangkau bagi perempuan untuk menjadi asisten rumah tangga di luar negeri menyebabkan tenaga kerja Indonesia yang legal didominasi oleh tenaga kerja wanita. Meskipun demikian, kondisi dalam dunia kerja menjadi tenaga kerja wanita memiliki tantangan tersendiri khususnya bagi perempuan yang belum berpengalaman untuk melakukan pekerjaan berbayar, misalnya ibu rumah tangga. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konstruksi sosial ibu rumah tangga terhadap pilihan menjadi tenaga kerja wanita di luar negeri. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan dengan masyarakat Desa Banaran, Kecamatan Grabag, Kabupaten Magelang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ibu rumah tangga yang telah menjadi tenaga kerja wanita di luar negeri mengalami tiga dialektika sesuai dengan teori Konstruksi Peter L. Berger, yaitu: eksternalisasi, objektivasi, dan internalisasi. Adapun faktor yang mempengaruhi konstruksi sosial ibu rumah tangga terhadap pilihan menjadi tenaga kerja wanita di luar negeri, antara lain: <em>perception</em>, <em>learning</em>, dan <em>emotion</em>.
The growth of trade activity impacts on increasing waste volume. One of the waste problem that becomes the attention of government is waste management in traditional market. Waste problem besides being challenging, can also be an opportunity, as well as waste management in Traditional Markets. This paper aims to explore the public value management theory that can be applied to the practice of waste management in traditional market. This paper is a literature review by examining journals related to waste management and public value. The results of various literature reviews will be used to developing a framework for analyzing public value in waste management in traditional market. This paper focuses on the developing of public values in the waste management in traditional market that could be classified of several aspects which are basic legitimacy and support; operational capabilities and substantial value. The result of paper create a framework to a public value in waste management in traditional market. This framework will make a theoretical contribution to the study of public service management.
