Global village is a phenomenon that occurs due to advances in information technology where there are no physical boundaries between individuals, communities, and countries. The world is connected through information technology and shares a variety of things. Apart from being a potential threat, the global village phenomenon also provides opportunities for introducing the Indonesian tourism sector to the global community. One of the villages that have the potential to exploit the global village phenomenon, especially in the tourism sector, is Ngargogondo Village, Borobudur Subdistrict, Magelang Regency, Central Java because it has the potential as a language tourism village. This study aims to measure community readiness in realizing a global village in the tourism sector with an analysis of community readiness dimensions in tourism and the global village aspect. This study used a survey approach with 157 respondents who were obtained using cluster random sampling technique. Meanwhile, the indicators used are adopted from the Tri-Ethnic for Prevention Research, with 19 indicators as research instruments. The results showed that the Ngargogondo Village community’s readiness was at the preparation stage (tourism aspect) and pre-planning (global village aspect). This study suggests that to increase community readiness in realizing the global village tourism sector, the Ngargogondo Village government must increase the availability of resources, especially in the tourism aspect, and create a positive climate in the community in response to the development of information technology in Ngargogondo Village.
Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang telah menerapkan e-Government melalui adanya Instruksi Presiden Republik Indonesia Nomor 3 Tahun 2003 tentang Kebijakan dan Strategi Nasional Pengembangan e-Government. Dalam rangka penerapan e-Government, Pemerintah Kabupaten Magelang menyediakan sebuah layanan sebagai wadah untuk menampung aspirasi masyarakat Kabupaten Magelang seperti pertanyaan, pengaduan dan tuntutan masyarakat, yaitu Layanan Aspirasi Masyarakat. Layanan Aspirasi Masyarakat ini belum tersosialisasikan secara merata dan berkelanjutan, sehingga aspirasi yang masuk masih rendah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengembangan e-Government melalui Layanan Aspirasi Masyarakat di Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Magelang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mewawancarai 3 (tiga) pegawai Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Magelang sebagai pengelola Layanan Aspirasi Masyarakat dan Masyarakat Kabupaten Magelang sebagai pengguna Layanan Aspirasi Masyarakat. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa keterbatasan anggaran, keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi dan keterbataan sumber daya manusia sebagai pengelola menyebabkan tidak terlaksananya sosialisasi secara merata dan berkelanjutan. AbstrakKegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterlibatan kaum muda dan terlebih anak-anak dalam pusaran ideologi radikalisme. Anak muda yang menganut ideologi radikalisme merupakan isu yang harus dicermati di tengah bonus demografi yang tengah berlangsung di negeri ini tidak terkecuali pada salah satu daerah di Kota Magelang yaitu di Kampung Karanggading. Adapun tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meneguhkan nilai keindonesiaan melalui kegiatan bermain sambil belajar dan kegiatan cinta lingkungan sebagai upaya meningkatkan rasa cinta tanah air, budaya,� keagamaan dan lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini diantaranya dengan beberapa tahapan program dongeng nusantara bagi anak, program outbond, belajar dan bermain bagi anak dan program bersih lingkungan bagi anak. Hasil kegiatan pengabidan kepada masyarakat ini diantaranya kegiatan dongeng nusantara, outbond dan kerjabakti menumbuhkan budaya anti kekerasan dan radikalisme dan masyarakat Kampung Karanggading, khususnya anak-anak mendapatkan pemahaman nilai-nilai nasionalisme dalam kehidupan mereka sehari-hari.�Kata kunci: nasionalisme; deradikalisai; anak usia dini.��Abstract This Community Service Activity is motivated by the involvement of young people and especially children in the impact of radical ideology. Young people who adhere to the ideology of radicalism are an issue that must be observed in the midst of the demographic bonus that is taking place in this country, not least in one area in the Magelang City, in Kampung Karanggading. The purpose of this community service is to strengthen the value of Indonesianism through play activities while learning and loving activities in an effort to increase the patriotism, culture, religion and environment. The methods used several stages of the Indonesian fairytale program for children, outbound programs, learning and playing for children and a clean environment program for children. The results of community service activities include the folklore activities of the archipelago, outbound and collaborative work fostering a culture of anti-violence and radicalism and the people of Kampung Karanggading, especially children get an understanding of the values of nationalism in their daily lives.�Keywords: nationalism; deradicalization; early childhood.
There is a direct impact between governance and corruption. They also evolve over time. For governance, the development of the concept has brought us to Sound Governance, a concept that is suitable and responds to international norms of governance. While the development concept has concluded the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), one of the Goals is the establishment of a strong institution. This work was conducted in the law and policy framework using regulations and public policy as the main reference for analyzing and evaluating purposes. The result has shown that implementation of Sound Governance with the adoption of Goal 16 target and indicator is the useful mean for corruption prevention and the for village governance.
The growth of trade activity impacts on increasing waste volume. One of the waste problem that becomes the attention of government is waste management in traditional market. Waste problem besides being challenging, can also be an opportunity, as well as waste management in Traditional Markets. This paper aims to explore the public value management theory that can be applied to the practice of waste management in traditional market. This paper is a literature review by examining journals related to waste management and public value. The results of various literature reviews will be used to developing a framework for analyzing public value in waste management in traditional market. This paper focuses on the developing of public values in the waste management in traditional market that could be classified of several aspects which are basic legitimacy and support; operational capabilities and substantial value. The result of paper create a framework to a public value in waste management in traditional market. This framework will make a theoretical contribution to the study of public service management.
