Shallot production in Indonesia is based on crops grown from seed bulbs. The introduction of True Seed Shallot (TSS) could be an option to improve competiveness of Indonesian shallot production. In the period 2007 till 2010 a research project was conducted to improve growing techniques of TSS. Seed emergence in the nursery was improved if the seed was sown in furrows 0.5-1.5 cm deep and by closing the furrow after sowing with soil instead of burned rice husks. Compared to traditional seed bulb crops productivity of TSS was much higher, up to twice as high in some experiments, while the growing period of TSS was two to three weeks longer. A recently developed cultivar, 'Sanren', which is an improvement in productivity, earliness, quality for the local market and which can be grown at a lower plant density than the older cultivar 'Tuktuk', has increased feasibility of TSS in Indonesia. Optimal plant density of 'Tuktuk' was 175 plants per m 2 ; optimal plant density of 'Sanren' was about 75-100 plants per m 2 , depending on the costs of seedlings. Optimal nitrogen fertilization of 'Tuktuk' was 180 kg N/ha; optimal nitrogen fertilization of 'Sanren' was 240 kg N/ha. However, additional research is needed to investigate the effect of nitrogen on quality of the harvested bulbs.
Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini, untuk: Meningkatkan pengetahuan (knowledge) kelompok sasaran dalam bidang manajemanen proyek, Menumbuh kembangkan sikap dan perilaku mental (mental attiude dan behaviour) ke arah kerja yang jujur dan efektif, Agar kelompok sasaran memiliki keterampilan dalam dalam melaksanakan manajemen proyek. Metode yang di gunakan adalah: 1.Metode curah pendapat, yaitu untuk menghimpun kebutuhan belajar sumber-sumber dan hambatan terkait dengan pendidikan dan pelatihan, 2.Metode penyusunan pecahan bujur sangkar (broken quare), yaitu untuk menumbuhkan kerjasama antara sesame rekan kerja, 3.Metode ceramah bervariasi, yaitu untuk memberikan informasi tentang manajeman proyek dan organisasi. 4. Metode kerja kelompok, yaitu memberikan kesempatan kepada kelompok sasaran untuk melakukan praktek dalam melakukan manajemen proyek dan organisasi, Pembahasan Masalah Kasus: Metode ini digunakan untuk memecahkan masalah/kasus yang mungkin timbul saat mengerjakan proyek-2 yang berbeda dengan proyek yang bisanya dikerjakan. Hasil Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini Pengabdian ini diikuti dengan praktek yang mempunyai tujuan membekali ketrampilan penerapan penerapan setiap kegiatan, meskipun dengan suasana nonformal tapi sangat relevan bagi peserta dalam rangka meningkatkan ketrampilan teknisnya. Agar pengetahuan dan ketrampilan dan aplikasi yang telah diberikan tidak hilang, maka perlu kiranya bagi Pimpinan untuk memotivasi anggotanya agar dapat berlatih dan dapat lebih meningkatkan lagi. Untuk lebih banyak memperdalam dan memperoleh ketrampilan yang lain maka perlu kiranya ditingkatkan kerja sama dengan lembaga perguruan tinggi khususnya sehubungan dengan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat.
Nowadays there are a lot of customers who are categorized as capable households (Rumah Tangga Mampu). The problem is, electricity rates increased to IDR 1,352,00/KWH for customers with average capacity (900 Volt Ampere). Central government spending the proportion of electricity subsidies tends to rocketed up from 2.5% in 2005 to 4.7% in 2012 APBN. For average electricity subsidies consume around 7% of central government spending. This condition shows that electricity subsidies are quite burdensome to the central government budget (Biro Analisa Anggaran dan Pelaksanaan APBN-Sekjen DPR-RI). Problems related to electricity consumed for the national industry gives impact on fluctuations in subsidies and inefficiencies at PT PLN require a comprehensive solution. In implementing the electricity subsidy distribution program that is right on target and foster the performance of PT. PLN in charge, it is necessary to hold a new breakthrough based on technology by creating a systemized system for new registration and re-registration for electricity consumers by bringing the data that has been determined by PT PLN. Next, the consumers will be trained to accessthe system to determine whether the consumer is eligible for subsidies or not. To overcome the problem the system is proposed the solution through the implementation of Naive Bayes. Based on the result, the system is feasible tocategorizefor whom the customer get subsidized electricity rate or not. The precise objectives and the system are able to improve the accuracy in selecting consumer tariff subsidy of electricity to the consumer the right target for PT PLN.
