This research is motivated by the need for innovation in the learning process in the 4.0 Industrial Revolution era. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of jigsaw cooperative learning using animation media for elementary school students. This research is quasi-experimental using posttest only. The results show a significant positive effect of the application of jigsaw cooperative learning by using animation media towards the learning outcomes of elementary school students. The implication of this study is that elementary school teachers can use cooperative learning models using animation media as an effort to improve the learning outcomes of elementary school students in the 4.0 industrial revolution era.
Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi banyaknya permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru SD dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas pada masa pandemic covid-19. Permasalahan ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam melaksanakan proses blended learning pada proses pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas pada masa pandemic covid-19. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk guru SD kecamatan X Koto Kabupaten Tanah Datar sebanyak 30 orang. Kegiatan ini meliputi seminar hakikat pembelajaran Blended learning dan pelatihan penerapan pembelajaran blended learning untuk pembelajaran pada masa pandemi covid-19. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah terjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam melaksankan proses blended learning pada proses pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas pada masa pandemic covid-19. Implikasi pengabdian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai landasan bagi praktisi pendidikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas guru dalam menghadapi pembelajaran pada masa pandemic covid-19 ini.
Distance learning or online learning is a challenge in implementing character education during this pandemic outbreak. Students become role models and figures who become role models. The use of digital technology in online learning also makes students vulnerable to being exposed to negative content which results in morality problems and character crises. This study aims to cultivate integrated character education in the distance learning process or online learning during the pandemic. This research is a classroom action research carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 stages, namely the planning stage, the action stage, the observation stage, and the reflection stage. From the data analysis, it shows that the civilization of the character values of the discipline values by carrying out the task properly to achieve satisfactory results is growing rapidly with 28.57% while the lowest score develops consistently with only 19.63%. The implication of this research can be used as a reference in implementing character education in the distance learning process.
The background of this research is the need to associate the mathematics mastery ability of elementary school students during the Covid 19 pandemic, including the mathematical connection ability. This study aims to determine the mathematical connection ability of elementary school students during the Covid 19 pandemic. This research is descriptive qualitative research by conducting interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion/verification. The results of the study concluded that the mathematical connection ability of elementary school students during the Covid 19 pandemic was low. The implication of this study is as a foundation in developing mathematics learning, which can enhance the mathematical connection abilities of elementary school students during the Covid-19 pandemic.
