A quality education is a description of a developed, peaceful, and leads to constructive qualities society. The success of education is not only lies in the educators and students factors, but also the use of an appropriate learning media will has a major influence on the understanding of students. A technology Advancements provides benefits to all fields, as well as in the education field. The utilization of technological advancements in education can be used in developing learning media. The use of smart phone and internet is dominated by the younger generation. It can be utilized in fulfilling learning needs. To solve problems regarding the use of conventional learning media, an innovative idea is needed to solve through Star Mobile Apps. Star Mobile Apps is an Androidbased learning media innovation that supports the implementation of paperless policy and the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Program. This application is able to make learning activities become more interesting and interested by students. In addition, by utilizing technological advancements, this application can reduce the need of paper usage so that the paperless policy can be implemented. By encouraging the implementation of paperless policy, Star Mobile Apps also supports an effort to improve the environment both in rural and urban areas. This research is a research and development (Research & Development) through four development procedures in the form of preliminary studies, program design, program development, and dissemination. The results of the preliminary studies showed that respondents still felt difficult in developing Android-based learning media. Based on these problems, a learning media is then designed that can accommodate learning needs through the use of technology. Then the design was validated by experts to be tested. Based on the results of expert validation, an average of 89.33% was obtained from the validators. It was an indication that the developed media is categorized as very good category. Application user responses also showed that 15% positive and 85% very positive. Meanwhile, student learning outcomes show that through learning media Star Mobile Apps can improve learning outcomes with an average N Gain of 0.701.

The Indonesian banking industry has developed technology innovation will provide financial services to generate income. The purpose of this paper is to compare the service activity and to explore the effect of the service activity on risk in Islamic and conventional banks. By analyzing 12 Islamic banks and 38 conventional banks in Indonesia during the period from 2015 to 2017, we use Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with path analysis and multiple group analysis. The result shows that the service activity of Islamic banks appears to be more variable than conventional banks. The risk level of Islamic banks is more stable than conventional banks. For Islamic banks, non-financing income has a significant negative effect on risk, commission income and trading income have a significant positive effect on risk, and other non-financing income has no effect on risk. However, no significant effect has been observed between non-interest income, commission income, trading income, other non-interest income and risk level in conventional banks. This finding indicates that the combination of funding activities, lending activities, and service activities allows Islamic banks to obtain the diversification income till reduce risks. For conventional banks, diversification in activities contributes to the higher volatility of bank revenue.

This study aims to determine the extent to which Islamic banks in Indonesia apply sharia principles in carrying out their operational activities, by looking at the impact of the Islamicity lPerformance lIndex lindicators, namely lProfit lSharing lRatio, lZakat lPerformance lRatio, Equitable lDistribution Ratio, Directors-Employees Welfare Ratio, Islamic Income vs Non-Islamic lIncome, land lalso lintellectual lcapital on the financial performance of Islamic Banks by using the profitability ratio as a measure of bank performance. Secondary data were obtained from financial reports published by Islamic Banks in Indonesia for the period 2010-2018. The results indicate that the Zakat Performance Ratio partially had a significant positive impact on ROA, the Equitable Distribution Ratio and intellectual capital have a partially significant negative impact on ROA, besides simultaneously the profit sharing ratio, zakat performance ratio, equitable distribution ratio, directors-employees welfare ratio, Islamic income vs non-Islamic income, and intellectual capital have a significant impact on ROA.

Dalam rangka mewujudkan proses pembangunan yang memberikan pencapaian terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat ini dapat juga dipengaruhi oleh salah satunya yakni dengan eksistensi kekuatan modal sosial. Salah satu contoh praktik kehidupan dimensi modal sosial ini berada di daerah sekitar Danau Rawa Pening yaitu Desa Tuntang. Artikel ini akan membahas mengenai kerajinan enceng gondok sebagai dimensi modal sosial dalam mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Tipe penelitian ini adalah deskriptif, Hasil penelitian ini berisi kutipan-kutipan untuk memberi gambaran penyajian laporan tersebut. Sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan kerajinan, masyarakat desa memiliki sikap kreatif. Hal ini karena eceng gondok memungkinkan masyarakat untuk mengidentifikasi peluang bisnis dan keberadaan ruang komersial. Komunitas pengrajin kerajinan enceng gondok ini merupakan salah satu gambaran dimensi modal sosial.
