Based on the situation analysis, a Community Partnership Program (PKM) activity is proposed to train the use of reference management software for teachers in which SMA Negeri 4 Pinrang Regency is the partner. The identified problems are: (1) Lack of skills in using reference manager software, (2) Zotero as open source software is unknown, (3) The need for the ability to use reference manager software that can be applied in writing scientific papers. The material is presented through zoom meetings in plenary and in groups according to the schedule. In the plenary presentation of the material, material on basic concepts in research and writing of scientific papers was presented then continued with the provision of material on the use of Zotero in writing scientific articles. Some of the requirements to become a participant are: (1) having an interest in learning the basic concepts of reference management, (2) having never attended a similar training. (3) must attend all training activities. From the PKM activities that have been carried out as well as the team's internal survey, it can be concluded that in the implementation of this activity: (1) Participants become literate and skilled in operating the Zotero software, (2) The Zotero menu is well known to PKM participants, (3) Participants have the ability to use Zotero in writing scientific articles.
Online teaching can be a solution in the learning process during the pandemic to stop the spreading of the Covid-19 infection. Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM) as an educational institution provided a Learning Management System (LMS) to support the online teaching and learning process with the platform name SYAM-OK. In this research, we examine the behavioral model of a student's acceptance of the use of an information system SYAM-OK in online teaching. 120 students in the sample used online teaching fully during the pandemic. The data was obtained from an online questionnaire using a google form whose contents were based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The variable of TAM consists of Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Attitude Towards, Behavioral Intention, and Actual Use. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) PLS method was used in this research for modeling the relationship between TAM variables. Based on the results of the SEM we obtained that Perceived Usefulness significantly affects the Attitude Towards and Attitude Towards significantly affects the behavioral intention. By using the bootstrapping and T statistics, we conclude that SEM has identified the significant effects between variables of TAM.
The increasing number of cases and the development of new variants of the Covid-19 virus globally including the territory of Indonesia, especially in the province of South Sulawesi are increasingly worrying and need to be prevented. Therefore, this study aims to develop a SEIR model on the spread of Covid-19 with vaccination control, optimal control analysis, stability analysis and numerical simulation of the SEIR model on the spread of Covid-19 in South Sulawesi. This study uses the SEIR epidemic model to predict the spread of Covid-19 in South Sulawesi Province with parameters such as birth rate, cure rate, mortality rate, interaction rate and vaccination. The SEIR model was chosen because it is one of the basic methods in the epidemiological model. The method used to build the model is a time delay model by considering the vaccination factor as a model parameter, model analysis using the next generation matrix method to determine the basic reproduction number and stability of the Covid-19 distribution model in South Sulawesi. Numerical model simulation using secondary data on the number of Covid-19 cases in South Sulawesi starting in 2021 which was obtained from the South Sulawesi Provincial Health Office. The results obtained are model analysis provides evidence of the existence of optimal control in the model. Based on the results obtained, it can also be seen that vaccination greatly influences the spread of Covid-19 in South Sulawesi, so that awareness is needed for the people of South Sulawesi to follow the government's recommendation to vaccinate to prevent or reduce the rate of transmission of Covid-19 in South Sulawesi.
Based on site analysis in Wijaya Kusuma, there is social gap between two social groups which are living side by side but rarely interacting to each other because there isn’t any place to accommodate their interactions, this region’s population mostly are school-aged children and there’s a large number of schools in this region, so Wijaya Kusuma Playscape as a third place hopefully could be the answer of the problem, by using playing as a medium where can be a place for the two social groups to interact, as well as a non-formal education forum for local residents. Using observation and interview methods to collect the data and using analogy method as the design method. Using tree house as the design concept to build playful ambience and the theory of the third place by Ray Oldenburg also applied in this project. Hopefully Wijaya Kusuma Playscape could be a place where people can meet, interact, play, and learn in Wijaya Kusuma.
Cluster analysis is a data mining technique used to group data based on the similarity of attributes of object data. One of the problems that are often encountered in cluster analysis is data with a mixed categorical and numerical scale. The clustering stage for mixed data using the ensemble ROCK (Robust Clustering using links) method is carried out by combining clustering outputs from categorical and numeric scale data. The method used for categorical data is the ROCK method and the method used for numerical data is the Hierarchical Agglomerative method. The best clustering method is determined based on the criteria for the ratio between the standard deviations within the group (SW) and the smallest standard deviation between groups (SB). Based on 24 observation objects in the regencies and cities of the Province of South Sulawesi, the ROCK ensemble method with a value of 0.1 produces three clusters with a ratio value of 2,27 x10-16 based on the combination of the output results of the ROCK method and the Hierarchical Agglomerative method
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
