This research is motivated by the low interest and motivation of students to learn mathematics in the third grade of SDN 19 Nan Sabaris. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of Ludo media to increase the interest and motivation of mathematics learning in third grade students of SDN 19 Nan Sabaris. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a sample of all third grade students of SDN 19 Nan Sabaris registered in the 2018/2019 school year. The research instrument used was in the form of a questionnaire to see motivation and student learning interest in mathematics in grade III of SDN 19 Nan Sabaris. The data analysis technique used is paired-sample t-test. The results of data analysis showed that there were significant differences in the results of interest in and motivation to learn mathematics in third grade students at SDN 19 Nan Sabaris. This means that the use of ludo game media can significantly increase students’ interest and motivation in learning about Mathematics.
This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of Student Activity Sheets (LKPD) which are integrated in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics – Project-Based Learning (STEAM-PjBL) on Acids and Bases material and are used to determine the level of validity and practicality of the LKPD that is used. developed. This research is a research (R&D) with a 4-D development model. This 4-D model has four stages, namely the stages of define, design, develop and disseminate. However, the dissemination stage was not carried out. This study used instruments in the form of content and construct validation questionnaires, teacher and student response questionnaires. This LKPD was validated by five experts consisting of a Chemistry lecturer (FMIPA UNP) and a chemistry teacher. The validation data obtained were analyzed using the v Aiken scale, while the practicality data were analyzed using a comparison of students' scores with students' maximum scores. Based on the validation questionnaire that has been analyzed, it can be concluded that the LKPD developed is valid with a v value of 0.86 with a very valid category. While the practicality of teachers and students obtained NP values of 0.85 and 0.89 with very practical categories.
Eriochrome Black-T (EBT) is a dye that is commonly used in the textile industry to dye silk, wool, nylon, and double fiber, as well as in the laboratory to estimate Ca 2+ , Mg 2+ , and Zn 2+ . If EBT dye is discharged into natural waters, it can have a substantial impact on the aquatic environment's photosynthetic activity since its breakdown components, such as naphthoquinone, are carcinogenic. As a result, its presence in drinking and surface water can be fatal. Therefore, the dyestuff is degraded before being released into the environment so that the environmental pollution can be decomposed. The goal of this study is to find the best timing for EBT degradation using the sonolysis method and to add TiO2 doping to the ZnO catalyst. The absorbance value measured with a UV-Vis spectrophotometer was used to calculate the percentage of EBT dye degradation. The maximum absorbance (max) of EBT was 535.60 nm, which was used to measure absorbance. The results revealed that the best period for EBT degradation was 30 minutes, with an 81.65% degradation rate. The effect of changing the amount of TiO2 doping produced the best results, with a degradation percentage of 84.30 % at ZnO-TiO2 10%.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
