This study aims to analyze student outcomes after learning the acid-base concept supported by PhET Simulation. The PhET simulation is used to help visualize sub-microscopic representation of the acid base solution. The method used is one group pre-test and post-test design with the subject this study consists of thirty high school students in the Bandung area. The research instrument used was a test that measured the ability to distinguish the strength of acid-base at the level of sub-microscopic representation, calculate the degree of ionization, the relationship of Ka to concentration, and analyze the pH of the solution. The result of this study it can be concluded that the PhET simulation can improve student learning outcomes to the level sub-microscopic representation.
The subject of Islamic Religious Education in madrasah is a field of study which has some contents, such as; aqidah akhlak, al quran hadith, fiqih (jurisprudence), and history of Islamic culture. The main problem faced in madrasah today is still low competence of Islamic religious education teachers. One of ways to improve the teacher competences is by professional improvement programs through teacher professional education program. However, the impact of teacher professional education programs on teacher competency improvement has not been widely reported, so it is need to identify the effectiveness of the program. This study used naturalistic inquiry method. The results of the research showed that the teacher's professional education program has an impact on the improvement of teacher competence. It is showed by the average score of pedagogic competence of teachers on the average 80%, while the value of the courses obtained by each participant. In the major of al quran hadith, the average value has 81%, the value of the major of moral subject (aqidah akhlak) has 77%, and the value of the PGMI major has 78%.
This study aims to create an e-module visualization chemical equilibrium processes based on POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) which includes sub-concepts of dynamic equilibrium, homogeneous and heterogeneous equilibrium, and factors that influence chemical equilibrium. The three main activities in this e-module are predicting, observing and explaining. The e-module was created using the Design Based Research method with ADD design (Analysis, Design, Development) which was validated by two material expert lecturers and two multimedia expert lecturers producing an overall average calculation of 0.87 while the results of the feasibility test conducted at ten students show a percentage of 98.11%. This shows that this e-module is very feasible to be used as teaching material.
ABSTRAKKonsep koloid bersifat abstrak dengan contoh konkrit, sehingga diperlukan suatu lembar kerja praktik aplikatif yang sesuai dengan konsep tersebut. Pemanfaatan lengkuas dalam bentuk krim antijamur dengan pengaplikasian pembelajaran proyek, dapat mewujudkan pembelajaran yang bersifat bermakna dan dekat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menyusun LK berbasis proyek, mengetahui uji kelayakan LK berbasis proyek, dan penentuan karakteristik terbaik krim antijamur dari berbagai variasi komposisi fasa terdispersi, pendispersi dan keberadaan zat tambahan. Lembar kerja dibuat menggunakan metode research and development. Prosedur dalam lembar kerja ditentukan melalui pembuatan dan analisis karakteristik krim antijamur dari fraksi nonpolar ekstrak aseton lengkuas. Hasil uji validasi terhadap format LK dinyatakan valid, dengan nilai rata-rata r hitung yang diperoleh sebesar 0,84, persentase keterbacaan LK adalah 97%, sedangkan karakteristik LK yang dihasilkan membuat siswa dapat menentukan konsep dan prosedur pembuatan sistem koloid emulsi, faktor yang mempengaruhi karakteristik emulsi dan penerapan koloid.Kata kunci: lembar kerja proyek, pembuatan koloid, krim, antijamur ABSTRACT The concept of colloid is abstract with concrete examples, so an applicative practice sheet according to the concept is necessary. Utilization of galangal in the form of anti-fungal cream with the application of project learning, can realize the learning that is meaningful and close in everyday life. The objectives of this study were to develop a project-based worksheet, to know the project-based worksheet feasibility test, and to determine the best characteristics of the antifungal cream from various variations of the dispersed phase, dispersion medium and the presence of additives. The worksheet is created using research and development methods. The procedure in the worksheet is determined by the preparation and analysis of the antifungal cream characteristics of the galactic acetone nonpolar fraction. The result of validation test to worksheetformat is valid, with the average value of r count obtained is 0.84, the percentage of worksheet eligibility is 97%, while the worksheet characteristics produced make the students can determine the concept and procedure of making the colloid emulsion system, the factors that influence the characteristics emulsion and colloid application.
