ABSTRAKTulisan ini bertujuan menggambarkan bahwa dalam menginterpresaikan ayat-ayat alQur"an yang berhubungan dengan pendidikan memiliki sejumlah konvensi/kaidah yang harus dipegang oleh peneliti pendidikan Islam. Konvensi/kaidah tersebut bisa bersifat metodologis dan teologis. Secara metodologis, upaya untuk menafsirkan ayat-ayat pendidikan yang terdapat dalam al-Qur"an berasal dari metode tafsir alQur"an. Secara umum, metode tafsir al-Qur"an tidak jauh berbeda dengan metode untuk menafsirkan teks/naskah pada umumnya. Hal yang paling membedakan adalah justru pada naskah itu sendiri yang berbentuk kitab suci. Oleh karena itu perlu ada pemahaman teologis tertentu ketika memperlakukan naskah kitab suci al Qur"an sebagai objek kajian/tafsir/penelitian. Al-Qur"an adalah firman Allah SWT yang berisi petunjuk bagi sekalian manusia. Sebagai firman Allah SWT, hanya Allah semata yang maha mengetahui semua maksud yang terkandung dalam setiap ayat alQur"an. Tetapi sebagai petunjuk, firman itu harus dipahami agar dapat diamalkan. Atas dasar itu, upaya untuk memahami al-Qur"an harus terus dilakukan, tidak terkecuali untuk memahami ayat-ayat al-Qur"an yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan. Ragam upaya tersebut, yang meliputi prinsip dasar, metode analisis dan metode penelitian terangkum dalam satu konsep yaitu landasan metodologis teologi pendidikan Islam. The conventions/rules can be in the form of methodological and theological. Methodologically, an attempt to interpret the verses of education contained in the Qur'an comes from the Qur'an interpretation methods. This article aims to analyze living social phenomena, important study material that becomes an academic attraction, especially when religion is faced with social change and actual problems that must be answered by Islam. PTKIN as a study institution of Islamic education today has received a response from the wider community and has become an interesting social phenomenon to study. The fundamental problem that is the focus of this study relates to the dynamics of the face of Islamic State Islamic Higher Education (PTKIN) in the context of change to the State Islamic University, especially with the inclusion of lecturers from various educational backgrounds, disciplines and diversity of organizations that become new forces at the State Islamic University (UIN). The focus of this study is interesting to study related to the religious views of UIN lecturers which are limited to lecturers who teach religious material in the study area outside the religious groups at three State Islamic Universities (UIN), namely UIN Ar-Raniry Aceh, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, and UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. This research is a field research using qualitative methods. To obtain data is done by observation, interviews and documentation. The findings can be concluded that each State Islamic University (UIN) has its own focus and specificity to appear and contribute to developing Islam Rahmatan Lil amin alamin by striving to formalize Islam and revive the Shari'a. Islamic portraits and religious views of the lecturers strongly agree that PTKIN supports the development of Islam which is rahmatan lil alamin and unites the differences of religion and ethnicity. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena sosial yang hidup, bahan studi penting yang menjadi daya tarik akademik, khususnya ketika agama berhadapan dengan perubahan sosial dan masalah aktual yang harus dijawab oleh Islam. PTKIN sebagai lembaga studi pendidikan Islam dewasa ini telah mendapat respon masyarakat luas dan menjadi fenomena sosial yang menarik untuk diteliti. Masalah mendasar yang menjadi fokus penelitian ini terkait bagaimana dinamika wajah keislaman Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (PTKIN) dalam konteks perubahan ke Universitas Islam Negeri terutama dengan masuknya tenaga dosen dari beragam latar belakang pendidikan, disiplin dan keragaman organisasi yang menjadi kekuatan baru di Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN). Fokus penelitian ini menarik untuk diteliti terkait pandangan keagamaan dosen UIN yang dibatasi pada para dosen yang mengajar materi keagamaan pada area studi di luar rumpun agama yang terdapat pada tiga Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN), yaitu UIN Ar-Raniry Aceh, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, dan UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Untuk memperoleh data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil temuan dapat disimpulkan bahwa masing- masing Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) memiliki fokus dan kekhususan tersendiri untuk tampil dan berkontribusi mengembangkan Islam Rahmatan Lil ‘alamin dengan berupaya untuk menformalkan Islam dan menghidupkan syariat. Potret Islam dan pandangan keagamaan dosen sangat setuju bahwa PTKIN menunjang pengembangan Islam yang rahmatan lil alamin dan menyatukan perbedaan agama dan suku bangsa.
Islam as a religion has actually become the target of study not only by Muslims but also by non-Muslims for diverse purposes and interests with various approaches. Indonesian Islamic Studies conducted by Dutch scholars and Orientalists are mostly intended for political and policy purposes related to the fate of Muslim-majority male citizens. Islamic dynamics revealed more progressive dynamics in the 1960s and 70s when institutionally the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia released the State Islamic Religious College (PTKIN) with the form of an Institute that developed religious scientific disciplines in the form of various faculties. From this, a variant of State Islamic University (UIN) developed with the development of study areas outside the religious. The fundamental problem that is the focus of this research relates to PTKIN's Islamic facial dynamics in the context of changes to the State Islamic University (UIN), especially Islamic studies and the new direction of Indonesian Islam which is becoming a new force at the State Islamic University (UIN). Specifically, this study aims to understand the trends and challenges of Islam in PTKIN in the future, and the Islamic thinking map of PTKIN in the new face of UIN which includes UIN SGD Bandung, UIN SUKA Yogyakarta and UIN Ar-Raniry Aceh.
The subject of Islamic Religious Education in madrasah is a field of study which has some contents, such as; aqidah akhlak, al quran hadith, fiqih (jurisprudence), and history of Islamic culture. The main problem faced in madrasah today is still low competence of Islamic religious education teachers. One of ways to improve the teacher competences is by professional improvement programs through teacher professional education program. However, the impact of teacher professional education programs on teacher competency improvement has not been widely reported, so it is need to identify the effectiveness of the program. This study used naturalistic inquiry method. The results of the research showed that the teacher's professional education program has an impact on the improvement of teacher competence. It is showed by the average score of pedagogic competence of teachers on the average 80%, while the value of the courses obtained by each participant. In the major of al quran hadith, the average value has 81%, the value of the major of moral subject (aqidah akhlak) has 77%, and the value of the PGMI major has 78%.
The purpose of this research is to analyses the learning of a soft-based PAI in students of PAI UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung and UIN Wali Songo Semarang. This type of research is descriptive analysis, a research method consists of interviews, observations and polls. The results of this study showed that the learning of soft-based PAI students can form a high soft skill in the attitude aspects, communication aspects, ethical aspects and learning interaction aspects. The four aspects of the soft skill reinforce each other in forming a positive PAI student personality, so that PAI learning not only forms the hard skills but also establishes a strong soft PAI learning skill.
