This study aims to determine: 1) Primary School Teachers' Ability in utilizing ICT-based learning media in Banda Aceh City; and 2) Differences in the average of students interest in learning taught by high, medium and low competence teachers in utilizing ICT-based learning media. This research is conducted in Banda Aceh City. The population in this study are public elementary schools equipped with wifi and at least B accredited consisting of 42 schools. The research method used is a quantitative method with a comparative type. Data collection techniques ae carried out by observation techniques, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study uses one-way ANAVA. The results of the study show that: (1) The ability of elementary school teachers to utilize ICT-based learning media in Banda Aceh is in the medium category. (total score = 170.22, this is in the range 140 ≤ X <220); and (2) There is a significant difference between the average of students interest in learning taught by high, medium and low competence teachers in utilizing ICT-based learning media. (F count = 40,205 with sig. = 0,000 <0,05).
This study aims to investigate the effect of multichannel teaching media and cognitive styles toward the history learning achievement. This quantitative, experimental study employs a 2X2 factorial design. It involves two independent variables, i.e. multi-channel teaching media (X1) and cognitive styles (X2), and learning achievement (Y) as the dependent variable. Population of the study is all students of the History Education Department who are taking the History of Indonesia 3. Samples are selected from this group using random sampling and are collected by conducting Learning Achievement and Cognitive Style tests. Findings signify that: (1) Teaching activities which utilize teaching media by utility (making use of the environment) bring greater learning achievement compared to those that utilize teaching media by design. (2) There are differences between the learning achievements of students. Those with field-independent cognitive style show better achievement than students who are field-dependent. (3) Findings show that students of the Indonesian History 3 course who were taught using teaching media by utility obtain better learning achievement than those who were taught using teaching media by design. Making use of the media available in the immediate learning environment will make it easier for students to manipulate information that they receive with their respective cognitive structure.
This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model with the Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge (TPACK) Approach on the historical learning outcomes of high school students of Sultan Iskandar Muda Medan. This study uses a quasi-experiment research method. The population in this study involves all students of class XI of High School (SMA) Sultan Iskandar Muda Medan, with a sample of class XI of Social Sciences (IPS) 1 as an experiment class and class XI of Social Sciences (IPS) 3 as a control class selected by simple random sampling method. The experiment class is taught with the PBL Model with the TPACK Approach, while the control class is taught with the Discovery Learning Model. The research instrument used is in the form of test questions totaling 25 multiple choice questions that have been declared valid. In this study, two stages of the test were given, namely pretest and posttest, in the form of multiple-choice questions that have been declared valid. The pretest is given to both sample classes to determine the student's initial ability before being given treatment, while the posttest is given to both sample classes to determine the final ability of learners after treatment. Based on posttest data, the experiment class obtained an average score of 80.3 and an average score in the control class of 68.4. The data proved to be a normal and homogeneous distribution through statistical test analysis, so a hypothesis test was carried out, namely a one-party t-test that showed a significance level of α = 0.05. Thus, Ho was rejected, and Ha was accepted, meaning that there was an influence of the PBL Model with the TPACK Approach on the historical learning outcomes of the high school students.
Prioritizing WEB-based knowledge learning. The approach taken to familiarize students with high-level thinking is helped by WEB. Based on preliminary analysis, it is known that teachers have difficulties in designing a WEB-based social science learning media. This study uses the ADDIE model to develop web-based learning media. The development research flow, namely, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of research in the form of WEB-based social studies learning media products have been declared feasible by a team of experts. Practically, this research can be useful for teachers, the government.
Kata Kunci: media pembelajaran interaktif, pelajaran agama islam, shalat fardu Abstract: The purpose of this study are: (1) to produce Macromedia based fardu prayer learning media, (2) to find out whether the use of fardu prayer learning media based on interactive learning can improve students' Islamic religious learning outcomes. Development research using the Borg and Gall development model combined with the Dick and Carey model learning design. The results showed (1) the material expert test of Islamic subjects was in very good qualification (91.33%), (2) the learning design expert test was in very good qualification (91.33%), (3) expert test learning media / graphic design experts are in very good qualifications (91.43%), (4) individual trials are in very good qualifications (94.82%), group trials are in very good qualifications (89.88%), test the field try is in very good qualification (89.68%). The effectiveness test results show that the data t count = 16.32 t table 0.05 (2.49) = 1.67 then t count (16.32)> t table (1.67) for the significance level (α = 0.05 ) or in other words Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, the effectiveness of the use of learning media is 85.00%, without media that is 75.90%. This data proves that the use of interactive learning media fardhu prayer is more effective in improving student learning outcomes than without using interactive learning media. Keywords: interactive learning media, Islamic religious studies, fard prayer
