Mangrove is a plant generally located in tropical regions. It grows many in areas with salinated to fresh water and affected by tidal along with anaerobic soil conditions which filled with mud that contain organic material. In the process of photosynthesis, mangrove captures carbon in the atmosphere and are stored in biomass and sediment. Sediment can store carbon greater than biomass and rich of organic matter. Research regarding carbon storage in mangrove sediment on Payung Island has never been carried out which made this research aimed to estimate carbon storage in mangrove sediment on Payung Island. This research was conducted in October 2020 at Payung Island, South Sumatra. The sediment samples were analyzed by the Walkley-Black oxidation method and the sediment texture was analyzed by the Shepard triangle method. The calculation results show the dominant sediment texture was in the clay category, the average value at each station for % C organic is 5.04% and % organic matter is 8.18% and carbon deposits in sediment are 129.6 tonC/ha.
Mangrove sangat efektif mengurangi karbon di atmosfer yang kemudian disimpan dalam bentuk biomassa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan estimasi simpanan karbon pada tegakan dan akar mangrove. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Bulan Februari 2020 di Pulau Payung, Kecamatan Banyuasin menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Perhitungan biomassa mangrove menggunakan metode persamaan allometrik. Hasil estimasi simpanan karbon dari biomassa tegakan dan akar mangrove yang terbesar yaitu jenis mangrove A. alba sedangkan yang terkecil yaitu jenis mangrove X. granatum. Biomassa dan stok karbon tegakan mangrove tiap stasiun yang tertinggi terdapat pada stasiun 2 dan terendah terdapat pada stasiun 6. Tegakan mangrove memiliki nilai rata-rata biomassa dan simpanan karbon yaitu 124,4 ton/ha dan 58,47 tonC/ha. Akar mangrove memiliki nilai rata-rata biomassa dan simpanan karbon yaitu 71,44 ton/ha dan 33,58 tonC/ha.

Analisis yang digunakan ialah analisis secara deskriptif dan analisis uji square. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tidak terdapat hubungan antara jenis kelamin dan umur terhadap pemilihan toko pempek. Berdasarkan hasil uji chi square pendidikan akhir, pekerjaan, dan pendapatan memiliki korelasi dengan pemilihan toko pempek. Palembang had so many Pempek Shops. Aktifitas pembangunan dan pelayaran di Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok sangat tinggi sehingga membutuhkan informasi pasang surut guna mendukung perencanaan pembangunan, alur keluar masuk kapal untuk bongkar muat barang, serta keselamatan pelayaran. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan karakteristik pasang surut observasi dengan karakteristik pasang surut prediksi model TPXO 7.1 dari perangkat lunak Tidal Model Driver (TMD) serta menganalisa keakurasian data pasang surut model TPXO 7.1. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengolah data observasi pasang surut menggunakan metode admiralty dan data prediksi pasang surut didapat dari model TPXO 7.1. Validasi data pasang surut dilakukan dengan menghitung Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) dan korelasi dari kedua data. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan bulan Maret 2018. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tipe pasang surut dari data prediksi model TPXO 7.1 dan data pengamatan langsung memiliki tipe pasang surut campuran dominan ke tunggal. Akurasi data pasang surut model TPXO 7.1 memiliki nilai RMSE sebesar 0.14 dan korelasi sebesar 0.73, dengan demikian data prediksi Model TPXO 7.1 dapat digunakan untuk menggantikan data observasi pada wilayah yang tidak diukur langsung.
This research shows the effect of oil mixture and temperature on breakdown voltage. Palm oil is combined with diala-b oil in various mix ratios and various temperatures. Test results on the sample, as the concentration of the mixture of diala-b oil increases, the breakdown voltage value also increases. The breakdown voltage values of all oil mixture samples that have gone through the treatment process have met the IEC standard No. 56 of 1991 with results that are classified as above the standard (standard ≥ 30kV/2.5mm). Breakdown voltage values for the composition of 100% diala-b oil, 100% palm oil, and a mixture of 50% diala-b oil: 50% palm oil at 60 °C, 70 °C, 80 °C, 90 °C, and 100 °C is above the standard that is ≥ 30 kV. Water content and acidity affect the breakdown voltage value. Based on the results of breakdown voltage testing that has been done, palm oil can be used as an alternative to transformer oil.
