Introduction. Entering the VUCA era, which stands for Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity, is a business situation that leads to uncertainty and is volatile, causing anxiety among business leaders. Creating a business opportunity in the VUCA era requires a strategy owned by many individuals and companies. Being able to run a business in the short term in the VUCA era is not enough, every company certainly wants the business processes they run to be sustainable. So far, the pattern of business thinking is still dominated by short-term thinking. Companies need to innovate to ensure the sustainability of their business processes. Objective. To review the VUCA era and what strategies companies should do to face the VUCA era. Method. The method used is literature research using Elsevier, Science Direct, or other databases to identify the essential attribute of materials. There are 29 pieces of literature found in the database related to the topic. Result and Conclusion. To overcome VUCA era, it is necessary to apply some strategies like vision, understanding, clarity, and agility. If this solution applied, the company can produce innovations or breakthroughs that are getting better, it will also have a good impact on the company's future sustainability.
Sanggar seni memiliki peranan strategis dalam melestarikan kekayaan budaya bangsa di tengah arus globalisasi. Oleh karena itu, sanggar budaya harus memiliki organisasi yang kuat dengan didukung oleh sumber daya manusia yang berkinerja unggul dan berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberdayaan, <em>hard skill</em>, dan <em>soft skill</em> terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 75 karyawan sanggar seni di Yogyakarta yang diambil dengan teknik <em>simple random sampling</em>. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. <em>Hard skill</em> juga diketahui berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Demikian pula dengan <em>s</em><em>oft skill</em> juga diketahui berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi pengelola sanggar seni untuk meningkatkan pemberdayaan, <em>hard skill</em>, dan <em>soft skill </em>dalam usaha untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan.
This study examines the social conflicts faced by mosque and prayers room managers in the Cangkringan area of Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Province. The social conflicts encompass a wide range of issues, from waqf land disputes to inheritance distribution and domestic household problems such as divorce to theological differences related to superstition, bid’a, and superstition. In Kapanewon (districts) Cangkringan, fewer than one hundred mosques and prayer rooms deal with such issues. To accomplish the study, this research was conducted using a qualitative design. A sociological approach was utilized to examine the roles and functions of Kiai and Islamic Boarding Schools in Kapanewon Cangkringan in general and mosque and prayer room managers in particular. The theory used is Max Weber's leadership theory. Three essential aspects of internal processes were identified in this study. First and foremost, the leadership of Kiai, the leader of the al-Qodir Islamic boarding school, exemplified a participatory transformative leadership who is not afraid of taking different perspectives to achieve common goals. Secondly, the transformative leadership at Islamic boarding school Kiai take a primary role as facilitator and problem solver for a wide range of social conflicts. As a third aspect, conflict resolution was distributed by establishing a new system with mutually agreed regulations, and it took place with the Selapanan system every Kliwon Sunday. In addition to enriching interdisciplinary intellectual treasures, this research contributes to interdisciplinary treasures both in sociology, particularly transformative leadership, and management science, specifically in organizational leadership.
This study aims to analyze the effect of work stress on employee performance with emotional intelligence as a moderating variable. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The object of research is PT. X and the subject in this study is using the Slovin formula. The sample selection was 87 samples. All data have met the classical assumption test and the regression model has met the model feasibility test. Based on the discussion that has been done, it can be concluded that work stress and emotional intelligence have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, emotional intelligence increases the effect of work stress on employee performance. Job stress is a major problem both for employees and for organizations.
Internship is a stage of education in Vocational High Schools that trains students to adapt to the business world and practice the competencies they learn in school directly in the industrial world. But unfortunately, not all vocational students who take part in internship programs in the industrial world can be well received. This study wants to look more deeply into how strategic management empowers Vocational High Schools in preparing students for the internship. This research uses mixed methods, more specifically the Embedded Design. Samples were taken randomly as many as 61 teachers and 353 students using the random sampling technique. Through SPACE Matrix analysis, it is known that the appropriate strategy in developing schools is to support an aggressive approach, namely by implementing the SO (Strategy to use power to reach opportunity) strategy. So it can be explained that the profile of Vocational High School 1 Kademangan is stable and can continue to prepare internship students with plans to take advantage of existing opportunities to improve the quality of education.
