The aim of this research is to know the effect of multiple representations approach in teaching physics towards cognitive ability of senior high school students. Multiple representations have five advantages such 1) Accomodate the difference of intelligence capabilities, 2) Visualization of brain, 3) Help to construct other forms of representation, 4) Some of representations are useful for qualitative reasoning, and 5) Abstract mathematical representation is used to qualitative reasoning. The multiple representations which are used in this research are verbal representation, visual representation and mathematical representation. The research was carried out using a quasi-experimental methode with non-randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. This research was conducted at SMAN 7 Bekasi with the subject of the research are studenst of X MIA 3 as the experimental class and the X MIA 1 as the control class. Data collection techniques were a multiple choice objective test to determine students's cognitive abilities. The cognitive abilities that will be examinde according to Anderson taxonom. Based on the result of hypothesis test ( test -T ) with a significance level of 5 % and dk = 86 obtained t count at 6.11 and t table at 1.671, so that it can be seen that H o is refused and H 1 is accepted . It can be concluded that the multiple representation approach give a positive effect on students' cognitive abilities. Pendekatan multirepresentasi memberikan 5 manfaat, yaitu 1) Mengakomodasi kemampuan intelegensi yang berbeda; 2) Visualisasi bagi otak; 3) Membantu mengkonstruksi bentuk lain dari representasi; 4) Beberapa representasi berguna untuk penalaran kualitatif; dan 5) Representasi matematik yang abstrak digunakan untuk penalaran kuantitatif . Multirepresentasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah representasi verbal, representasi visual dan representasi matematis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain nonrandomized control group pretestposttest. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 7 Bekasi dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas X MIA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas X MIA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes objektif pilihan ganda untuk mengetahui kemampuan kognitif siswa. Adapun kemampuan kognitif yang akan diteliti menurut taksonomi Anderson. The 3D FlipBook development has been widely used in the fields of education and produce a media that can enhance students' interest and motivation. Even so, the use of 3D PageFlip itself is still relatively rare. The lack of socialization is said to be the main reason that caused rare users of 3D PageFlip software. Accordingly, a medium to generate a 3D PageBook and in the same time to learn 3D PageFlip techniques is needed. This paper will discuss how to create media-based learning materials using 3D PageFlip to explain the physics of vibrations and sound waves. Meskipun begitu, penggunaan 3D PageFlip sendiri masih tergolong jarang. Kurangnya sosialisasi penggunaan software dikatakan sebagai alasan utama penyebab kurangnya pengguna software 3D PageFlip. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, perlu dibuat tulisan mengenai penggunaan 3D PageFlip untuk menghasilkan 3D PageBook sebagai media pembelajaran. Tulisan ini akan memaparkan bagaimana membuat media pembelajaran berbasis 3D PageFlip Fisika untuk materi getaran dan gelombang bunyi. Hal ini terbukti dari banyaknya aplikasi atau software baru yang hadir untuk membantu berjalannya proses belajar mengajar seperti animasi dalam bentuk flash maupun html, ataupun simulasi seperti phet. Dalam sebuah jurnal teknologi informasi dan pendidikan yang berjudul pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis multimedia interaktif mata kuliah listrik yang menggunakan autocad pada program studi pendidikan elektro ft unp oleh Eliza (2008) menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis multimedia interaktif dalam perkuliahan dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa dan meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa.
Objectives Social stigma surrounding leprosy patients (LPs) in the community is still related to the adherence of these patients to medication and to their internal motivation for healing. Unfortunately, the leprosy case programme has not been optimally established in public health centres (PHCs). The aim of this study was to assess the social stigma towards adherence to medication and motivation for healing among LPs in PHCs in Indonesia. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted from March to May 2017 at PHCs in Jember, Indonesia. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire, and secondary data related to medical treatment was assessed from PHCs' medical records. The data were analysed using a t -test and a Chi-square test, while linear regression was used to evaluate factors that could influence LPs' adherence to medication and their motivation for healing. Results Among the 35 LPs in this study, 25.7% and 74.3%, respectively, had paucibacillary and multibacillary types of leprosy. The type of leprosy was associated with the length of time patients were infected with the disease, their adherence to medication and their motivation for healing. The factors that influenced adherence to medication and motivation for healing were the time period that the LP remained infected and the type of leprosy. Conclusions Infection period and type of leprosy were associated with adherence to medication and motivation for healing in the community. Efforts should be made to find active cases of leprosy at PHCs. Activities at PHCs should include self-care groups to improve LP adherence to medication and their motivation for healing in the community.
Penggunaan pupuk kimia sintetis perlu ditekan mengingat dampak negatifnya untuk lingkungan. Limbah kulit bawang merah dapat menjadi solusi bagi penggunaan pupuk yang ramah lingkungan. Pemanfaatannya sebagai pupuk organik cair dapat menggantikan pupuk NPK, urea, atau ZA. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani serta strategi penyuluhan melalui petak percontohan dan anjangsana, juga menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Benteng Kecamatan Ciamis pada tanggal 17 April sampai 24 Juni 2020. Responden adalah petani bayam di Kelurahan Benteng sebanyak 30 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda, analisis deskriptif, dan uji beda. Pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani mengalami peningkatan 11,25% dan 43,02%. Pelaksanaan anjangsana dan petak percontohan efektif dalam pelaksanaan penyuluhan. Uji beda menunjukkan perbedaan nyata tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun untuk dua perlakuan. Berdasarkan analisis data secara statistic diketahui faktor umur mempengaruhi pengetahuan, sedangkan faktor pendidikan mempengaruhi keterampilan serta secara bersama-sama semua faktor mempengaruhi keduanya
This study investigated the implementation of High Order Thinking Skills in high school physics teaching focused on the analysis of the questions that were developed by teachers in Jakarta. Data obtained in training physics teachers in Jakarta. Teachers followed training on how to develop the learning of physics to develop higher order thinking skills. Then the teachers were asked to develop physics problems test as an instrument measuring tool of learning physics at school. Problems that have been made and then analyzed based on the general criteria and the criteria of making about a matter that meets the requirements of highorder thinking skills. Based on the analysis it can be concluded that to devise a matter of meeting the requirements of high order thinking skills required considerable time and good skills especially can apply Bloom's taxonomy in merumsukan indicators of competence to be measured.Keywords: High order thingking skills, physics, Bloom Taxonomy. AbstrakPenelitian ini mengkaji penerapan High Order Thinking Skills dalam pembelajaran fisika di SMA yang difokuskan pada analisis soal-soal yang dikembangkan oleh guru-guru DKI Jakarta. Data diperoleh dalam pelatihan guru fisika di DKI Jakarta. Sebelum membuat soal guru-guru mendapatkan pelatihan bagaimana mengembangkan pembelajaran fisika yang dapat mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (high order thinking skills). Kemudian guru-guru diminta untuk mengembangkan soal-soal fisika sebagai instrumen alat ukur pembelajaran fisika di sekolahnya. Soal-soal yang telah dibuat kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan kriteria umum pembuatan soal dan kriteria soal yang memenuhi persyaratan high order thinking skills. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk dapat menyusun soal yang memenuhi persyaratan high order thinking skills dibutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama dan keterampilan yang baik terutama dapat menerapkan taksonomi Bloom dalam merumsukan indikator kompetensi yang akan diukur.Kata-kata kunci: High order thingking skills, fisika, taksonomi Bloom.
