This study aims to determine the increase students' communication skills using bilingual preview review with setting jigsaw learning in the class VII SMPN 1 Tangerang on the concept of environmental management. The method used in this research was quasiexperimental research with one group pretest posttest design. In this research, the sample was class VII I, there are 30 student participant by purposive sampling. The instruments used the observation paper and written communication ability test. The result of the research is t-test result get t count = 11.41 and t table at α = 0.05 is 1,69. t count = 11,41 > t table =1.69 which indicates that there is an increase students' communication skills using bilingual preview review with setting jigsaw learning in the class VII SMPN 1 Tangerang on the concept of environmental management.
In addition to promote economic growth, industrialization had caused negative impacts on the environment. It was required a lot of efforts to overcome negative impacts, although the results were still not as expected. Starting from this condition this research aimed to design an environmental management prospect of Modern Cikande Industrial Estate (MCIE) in Serang, Banten Province, Indonesia. Environmental management prospect designed using a prospective analysis. This technique used to explore various possibilities in the future in environmental management of MCIE based on eco-industrial parks (EIPs). The analysis showed that there were 5 (five) key factors determine the success of environmental management of MCIE: pollution control, investment security, availability of infrastructure, industrial tourism, and competitiveness of industry. The most implementable scenario in MCIE environmental management in the future was the new urbanism. This scenario oriented on the long term balance between economic growth and environmental protection.
As a freshwater swamp forest that still remains in Java, the existence of Rawa Danau as an ecotourism destination is important to be explored, because its utilization is not yet based on sustainable management principles. For this reason, a system dynamics modeling was then made that integrates various factors in the biophysical, social, and economic dimensions to obtain the best alternative for managing the future ecotourism destinations. Management alternatives are designed in three scenarios: deep ecotourism oriented to very strong/strong sustainability; shallow ecotourism oriented to weak sustainability; and mass tourism oriented to very weak sustainability. The results showed that deep ecotourism was the most suitable scenario to be implemented. Through this scenario, the control of several parameters that were successfully carried out during the 10 years of the simulation are as follows: 1) restrain the growth rate of tourist numbers so as not to burden the environment; 2) reforesting almost all forest land converted so that the restoration of forest functions goes well; 3) increase local community income so that the community gets adequate economic benefits; 4) increase environmental investment so that stakeholders benefit economically, ecologically, and socially in an integrated manner; 5) maintaining biodiversity at a high level; 6) maintain swamp water reserves at a very good level; 7) reduce the volume of solid waste so that it does not burden the environment.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil analisis proses pembelajaran IPA terpadu dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum 2013 di SMP kecamatan Sumur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 5 guru IPA, 5 kepala sekolah, dan 5 siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP kecamatan Sumur yang dilaksanakan di 5 sekolah. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tahun ajaran 2020-2021 semester ganjil. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian berasal dari hasil angket dan wawancara. Perolehan data hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara keseluruhan SMP di kecamatan Sumur sudah melaksanakan kurikulum 2013 dengan sangat baik akan tetapi ditemukan beberapa kendala dalam pelaksanaannya yaitu pemahaman mengenai keterpaduan yang sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013 serta masih banyaknya guru yang menggunakan metode ceramah ketika pelaksanaan pembelajaran sehingga menyebabkan siswa menjadi kurang aktif pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung.
