This study aims to describe the implementation and character values that grow in students through the participatory-based Adiwiyata program at SDN Bareng 3 Malang. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques in research are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that SDN Bareng 3 Malang has implemented a participatory-based Adiwiyata program under the standards of participatory-based environmental activities. The activities include (a) maintenance and maintenance of the school building and environment; (b) participating in environmental action activities with outside parties; (c) forge partnerships and utilize sources from various parties to enhance environmental learning. As for the character values that grow in students of SDN Bareng 3 Malang, namely cooperation, caring for the environment, being independent, creative, disciplined, nationalist, religious, and responsible. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi dan nilai-nilai karakter yang tumbuh pada diri siswa melalui program Adiwiyata berbasis partisipatif di SDN Bareng 3 Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SDN Bareng 3 Malang telah mengimplementasikan program Adiwiyata berbasis partisipatif sesuai dengan standar kegiatan lingkungan berbasis partisipatif. Bentuk kegiatannya yaitu, (a) pemeliharaan serta perawatan gedung dan lingkungan sekolah; (b) mengikuti kegiatan aksi peduli lingkungan bersama pihak luar; (c) menjalin kemitraan dan memanfaatkan sumber dari berbagai pihak untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran lingkungan hidup. Adapun nilai karakter yang tumbuh pada diri siswa SDN Bareng 3 Malang, yaitu gotong royong, peduli lingkungan, mandiri, kreatif, disiplin, nasionalis, religius, dan tanggung jawab.
The purpose of this research to determine the use of science learning media, types of learning media used, obstacles faced by teachers and efforts to deal with obstacles in the use of science learning media at SDN Polehan 5 Malang. This type of research is phenomenological research with a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this study were the first to sixth grade teachers. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the data reduction stage, data presentation and conclusions. The results showed that (1) the types of science learning media used by the teacher were natural environment media, visual media, audio visual media, physical object media and multimedia media, (2) the use of science learning media at SDN Polehan 5 Malang was still low, four of six teachers still do not use science learning media when teaching, (3) the obstacles faced by teachers in the use of science learning media are the limited facilities owned by the school and the limited ability of the teacher, (4) the efforts made are to improve the teacher's ability by studying with colleagues work, attended training on the use of learning media from the Malang city office. Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan media pembelajaran IPA, jenis media pembelajaran yang digunakan, kendala yang dihadapi guru serta upaya dalam menghadapi kendala dalam pemanfaatan media pembelajaran IPA di SDN Polehan 5 Malang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian fenomenologi dengan pendekatan kualitatif metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru kelas satu sampai kelas enam. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi tiga tahap yaitu tahap reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) jenis media pembelajaran IPA yang digunakan guru adalah media lingkungan alam, media visual, media audio visual, media objek fisik dan media multimedia, (2) pemanfaatan media pembelajaran IPA di SDN Polehan 5 Malang masih rendah, empat dari enam guru masih belum menggunakan media pembelajaran IPA ketika mengajar, (3) kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam pemanfaatan media pembelajaran IPA yaitu keterbatasan fasilitas yang dimiliki sekolah dan keterbatasan kemampuan yang dimiliki guru, (4) upaya yang dilakukan adalah meningkatkan kemampuan guru dengan belajar bersama rekan kerja, mengikuti pelatihan penggunaan media pembelajaran dari dinas kota Malang.
Lembar Kegiatan Siswa (LKS) berbasis saintifik merupakan panduan kegiatan yang menuntun siswa untuk menemukan konsep secara ilmiah. Hal ini sangat mendukung penerapan pendekatan saintifik sebagaimana ditetapkan dalam Kurikulum 2013. Menurut Sudarwan (dalam Kemendikbud, 2013, dinyatakan bahwa pendekatan saintifik bercirikan penonjolan dimensi pengamatan, penalaran, penemuan, pengabsahan, dan penjelasan tentang suatu kebenaran. Apabila semenjak dini siswa dibimbing untuk terampil mengamati, menanya, menalar, melakukan eksperimen serta menyimpulkan dan mengkomunikasikan maka secara tidak langsung karakter ilmiah siswa akan terbentuk.Karakter ilmiah merupakan pencerminan sikap yang dimiliki oleh para ilmuwan. Hal ini sebagaimana diketahui bahwa para ilmuwan dalam upaya mempelajari fenomena alam selalu dilakukan PENGEMBANGAN LKS BERBASIS SAINTIFIK Abstract:The study aims at producing students' worksheet as teaching aid to raise proper scientific character for students in accordance with material experts, media expert, and users appraisement. Product's validation was attained from the experts of material and media. The result of try-out was used as the base of product revision. From the result of trying out, we found that: the accuracy of the concept; the proper content and implementation; the proper format, content, and presentation; the proper application and legibility; in addition, the students stated that they were delighted in doing the try-out. In applying the students' worksheet, teachers should read technical instructions for implementation before doing try-out and giving relevant alternative activities.Keywords: students' worksheet, scientific, scientific character, primary school students.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKS sebagai alat bantu guru dalam menumbuhkan karakter ilmiah siswa yang layak berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, ahli media, dan pengguna. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model Dick, Carey dan Carey. Validasi produk diperoleh dari ahli materi dan ahli media. Uji coba produk skala kecil dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV SDN Madyopuro 3 Malang. Hasil temuan uji coba digunakan dasar revisi produk. Dari hasil uji coba ditemukan: aspek keakuratan konsep, isi dan keterlaksanaan dinilai layak; format, isi. dan tampilan dinilai sangat layak; keterterapan dan keterbacaan dinilai layak; siswa menyatakan sangat senang melakukan percobaan. Mereka memberi masukan untuk waktu dan ruang jawaban perlu ditambah. Dalam menerapkan LKS hendaknya guru membaca petunjuk teknis pelaksanaan sebelum melakukan percobaan dan memberikan contoh alternatif kegiatan percobaan yang relevan.
The purpose og this research is: (1) planning the performance assessment; (2) the implementation of performance assessment; and (3) report on the performance evaluation results of learning in the fifth class of Public Elementary School Blimbing 3 Malang (Sekolah Dasar Negeri Blimbing 3 Malang). This research used a descriptive qualitative approach in case study. The data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that: (1) the preparation of integrated performance assessment plan in the course plan (RPP) in even semester consisting of Theme 5 to Theme 9 cannot be found because teachers do not prepare lesson plans; (2) the implementation of performance assessment is not done thoroughly by teachers, as they have difficulty in time management and teachers focused on a material with a performance assessment; (3) the implementation of performance assessment conducted by teachers in even semester consisting of Theme 5 to Theme 9 are not yet fully accordance with the measures of performance appraisal. This is proven by the performance assessment of the teachers which do not deliver the performance assessment rubric to students, the time management is not well-organized, and how teacher just memorize in assessing the learners, making the result less maximum; and (4) the report of performance assessment conducted by the teacher is already good, proven by how meaningful the report card reporting performance appraisal in the form of numbers, title, and description. However, teachers have a hard time in processing the outcome score of learners.
This study aims to describe the material misconceptions about the human circulatory system in fifth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Sumberpasir. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection through essay tests and interviews. The research subjects were fifth grade students. The results showed that there were still many students who had misconceptions about the concept of the human circulatory organ, the process of human blood circulation, human blood circulation disorders and how to maintain the health of the circulatory organ. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan miskonsepsi materi sistem peredaran darah manusia pada siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 1 Sumberpasir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui tes esai dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas V. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan masih banyak siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi pada konsep organ peredaran darah manusia, proses peredaran darah manusia, gangguan peredaran darah manusia dan cara memelihara kesehatan organ peredaran darah.
