The significance of the research is to seize a description of critical thinking students at a Junior High School at South Tangerang, Indonesia. It uses a descriptive statistic method to describe a more specified critical thinking student. Nowadays, learning process has been valued as non-critical thinking method to students. Whereas, by the critical thinking there will be the activity of thinking process to conclude. It has needed to be drilled since it had been early time to students to solve the problems. It gets social science critical thinking of 401 students. It is measured by the indicators of interpretation, analysis, evaluation, explanation, and inference. The results indicate the students skill in interpretation, analysis, explanation, and inference at a high level whereas it needs to create learning process of critical thinking students to do the evaluation at a medium level creating the hard worker and problem solver students.
The purpose of this research is to improve the skills of housewives Sawangan, Depok, in the use of waste cloth into brooches, necklaces, earrings, towels, and other accessories through community empowerment. Empowerment is a community effort to increase the capacity to prepare themselves through the provision of knowledge and skills. Stages empowerment counseling begins with awareness of the importance of taking wastewater to protect the environment and entrepreneurship motivation, followed by waste processing training, mentoring makes products to become independent, as well as promotional strategies. Through counseling and training, is expected to explore the potential that there is in the group of mothers in the household, so that it can generate income to the household economy, either as principal or as an additional revenue, as well as a provision for opening an independent business in the creative industries. If it is implemented properly and sustained, will indirectly assist in economic growth in both the domestic and regional levels in the District Sawangan.
The purpose of this research is to determine the role of self regulation in enhancing the ability of creative thinking in social studies teaching and learning. Therefore, the author conducted a survey on junior high school in South Tangerang, Banten. Students ability to organize themselves into an important key in developing the ability to think creatively. Students will know what you want to achieve so that he has a conscious effort to focus the attention and the ability to complete the task. Ability is what is required by Indonesian golden generation because they will be dealing with a very complex challenge. The golden generation should be given so that the provision could be responsible for the lives of himself and his people.
This article provides an theoretical overview of the internalization of democratic values in the school culture. The concept of democratic values in school culture obtained through study of literature. Democratic values considered important for the student as early as possible. Through the school culture, democratic values will be effectively internalized. These value aren't theoretical, but the values of democratic is implemented in the life of the school with school culture. School culture is interpreted as the norm; value; school rules that are binding on the entire school community. Democratic values that can be applied at schools such as transparency, resolve the issue peacefully, regularly class elections management, acknowledging the diversity in the schools, and so on.
This exploratory article is concerned with the utilization of social media platforms as learning media during the covid-19 pandemic. The Indonesian government issued a policy to work at home, study at home, and worship at home during the pandemic. Several social media applications have become popular among Indonesians during the pandemic. This study explored several students’ learning process using social media. The findings show the diversity of social media chosen by students based on their level of needs and economic factors.
