PendahuluanPenyuluhan pertanian sebagaimana diamanahkan dalam UU N0. 16 Tahun 2006 tentang Sistem Penyuluhan Pertanian, Perikanan dan Kehutanan merupakan bagian upaya mencerdasakan bangsa dan memajukan kesejahteraan umum dan pemerintah berkewajiban untuk menyelenggarakannya (Anonim, 2006). Penyuluhan Pertanian dalam UU ini diartikan sebagai proses pembelajaran bagi pelaku utama serta pelaku usaha agar mereka mau dan mampu menolong dan mengorganisasi dirinya dalam mengakses informasi pasar, teknologi, permodalan dan sumber daya lainnya sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan produktivitas, efisiensi usaha, pendapatan dan kesejahteraan serta meningkatkan kesadaran dalam pelestarian fungsi lingkungan hidup. Olehnya itu penyuluh pertanian dalam pelaksanaan tugas yang diembannya harus berdasarkan pada tugas dan fungsi yang telah ditetapkan.Seseorang penyuluh dapat dikatakan berkinerja baik, apabila terdapat bukti-bukti atau indikator ukuran tingkat pencapaian yang mengarah pada tercapainya tujuan. Untuk mengetahui kinerja seseorang penyuluh diperlukan adanya suatu penilaian kinerja. The idea of food sovereignty is rooted in efforts to protect the food economy from external pressures and promote domestic food stability including ensuring agricultural actor’s welfare. While, the social community called Gifood is struggling based on concerns that low public access to food and food waste may seem far from these issues, but the authors believe that the ideas associated with food sovereignty will lead to the construction of comprehensive food sovereignty’s strategy. This paper aimed to show 1) how ICT mediated initiatives for food sharing can support better food access and reduce food waste by Gifood, and 2) the potential of Gifood as a medium of distribution of agricultural products from local farmers in Yogyakarta. This qualitative study used virtual ethnography for a year of observation and in-depth interviews with eight informants. This research founded that through Gifood ICT program could prevent paradox among hunger and food waste through food sharing platforms, increasing food respect through the creative campaign, and having strong potential for the distribution of local products. Based on the results, the authors suggested considering the issue of food waste as a strategy in reframing food sovereignty and collaborating with Gifood and other social communities
Information literacy of farmers is especially significant for the growth of farmer, increasing farmers Keywords: information literacy, farmers, coastal sandy land, yogyakarta PENDAHULUANSektor pertanian Indonesia telah mampu menyerap tenaga kerja yang cukup besar yaitu 34% dari populasi penduduk Indonesia walaupun keadaan tersebut mulai menurun selama kurun waktu 10 tahun terakhir. Serapan tenaga kerja menurun sebesar 11% pada rentang tahun 2004 sampai dengan 2014 (BPS, 2015). Namun demikian, Hermanto dan Hardono (2015) menyatakan bahwa sektor pertanian masih memberikan sumbangan sekitar 13,68% terhadap PDB pada tahun 2014. Kondisi tersebut memberikan gambaran bahwa sektor pertanian masih berperan nyata dalam mendukung perekonomian nasional.Untuk meningkatkan perannya, sektor pertanian membutuhkan sumberdaya manusia dengan kapasitas dan kapabilitas yang mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapinya. Namun demikian, Adomi (2003) menemukan bahwa petani di pedesaan cenderung lemah dalam menyadari kebutuhan informasi secara spesifik terkait dengan akses kebutuhan saprodi, akses informasi pasar, informasi pasca panen dan informasi lainnya.Menurut Indraningsih dkk (2010) penyelenggaraan penyuluhan selama ini masih cenderung mengarah kepada transfer teknologi, oleh karenanya perlu bergeser ke arah pemberdayaan petani dengan penyediaan teknologi dan informasi sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kemampuan petani. Hasugian (2008) menyatakan bahwa literasi informasi adalah bagian dari kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat di bidang informasi. Literasi informasi merupakan kemampuan mencari, mengevaluasi, dan menggunakan informasi yang dibutuhkan secara efektif. Pada dasarnya literasi informasi bukan kemampuan atau keterampilan baru namun pada era keterbukaan informasi, literasi informasi merupakan tuntutan ketrampilan yang harus dimiliki.Keluasan informasi pertanian yang ada melalui berbagai macam media, mulai dari media interpersonal, media kelompok, media massa, media sosial bahkan media baru platform perlu sejajar dengan kemampuan petani dalam mengakses informasi tersebut agar
Food waste was the biggest contributor of waste amount 40,8% in Indonesia, according to Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Sampah Nasional. Food waste also has a significant impact on the environment due to its greenhouse gas emissions. However, food waste is still uncommon in public discourse. Gifood is the social community established to begin action on food waste and sustainable consumption campaigns, especially for young consumers in Yogyakarta. The research employed the Theory of Planned Behavior as a theoretical framework, and used a quantitative method to gather data a year (2019)(2020). 135 Gifood's social media followers were randomly selected as study samples. By using simple regression analysis, this research found that sustainable consumption messages had a statistically significant effect on attitude (t value 3,871 > t table 1,656, p 0,00 < 0,05), subjective norm (t value 4,247 > t table 1,656, p 0,00 < 0,05), and perceived control (t value 9,098 > t table 1,656, p 0,00 < 0,05). The results also showed that using a multiple regression analysis, the subjective norm and perceived control variables can explain 59.6% of the variation in the intention variable. The subjective norm had most influence (β = 0,443) and followed by perceived control (β = 0,315). While attitude had not statistically significant. The study suggests that in order to promote sustainable consumption more effectively, factors such as normative beliefs, motivation to comply with others' opinions, and perceived control should be taken into consideration.
